I've been there. I was wanting some info about the camp across the street from Al Capone's house. I've heard stories but I wanna know what actually happened there?

I used to live in Three Rivers, my friends cousins owned the house when I lived there. I could tell you all kinds of stories. My friends and I used to party out there (purgatory) when I was a teenager. the camp across the street used to be slave houses/schools. From what I was told he was very kind to them, the house is pretty cool, haunted? Am not sure about that, creepy. It has all kinds of passageways out to the back yard. And the big gate out in the yard has and old lock on it.(supposed to go underground) I never was able to explore that area. purgatory definitely has some kind of energy to it.I feel that place.

I went exploring there just this afternoon. It was obvious that many others have down the same path. There was an obvious walking path winding in and around the buildings. It's not actually ON Purgatory Road but north of Purgatory Road on Preston Road. Look in the swampy area. I didn't see the camp today. I hadn't been the area in like 8 - 10 years. I guess it was torn down cuz I didn't see it.

wait a minute let me help u out on the facts al capone was in prison from 31 to 39 and retreated to florida untin his death in 47 the mansion u talk about was originally built as the jeanie jones ranch its hayday was the late forties and early fifties the building materials and design of the building date it to im guessing the early forties capone reigned from 21 to 31 so no way for him to be out there and the dnr has been out there with sonar to make sure there is no tunnels and there are none

live in Three Rivers for 48 years & only drove past there twice but it was strange, I also remember 2 guys in high school stealing things fron the Capones, mirrors & paintings, I think it was made up, but if you partied there you might remember

in 2005 there was a fire and burned down the old camp somebody had a lab out there and a dip shit lit a bowl and it went up you could see the smoke for miles
