Dear Carol & history group,
My husband and I traveled to Vandalia on Sunday to see the Bonine House, after the numerous articles we had read in the South Bend Tribune. It is a lovely old home and hope the historical group are able to save it for it's importance in the history of the community. This being a huge undertaking. The public is invited to a meeting taking place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Vandalia Village Hall.
