i just wish they made up the games or practices if they missed them. And also, it doesnt seem like all the coaches know the rules they should atleast know that instead of teaching them wrong.

Volunteer to be your kids coach and then you'll know it's done right.

I agree, it's to bad more knowledgeable parents didn't volunteer to coach a sport, but what's really sad is how many teach the wrong fundamentals of a game. The poor kids start right out learning the wrong way to play a sport just to satisfy a parents ego trip. Then when these kids get up to high school level of play they start out with all the wrong way of doing things and have to be retrained. I say if you're going to be a coach then at least know the basics of a game and the fundamental skills to play the game properly. If I remember right it takes 5 times as long to retrain a wrong thought then it does to teach a right one the first time. And just for the record, I am not one of those people who could teach a sport properly or I would volunteer.

u go double hmmm!i agree! its interesting that you see a coch teach his team correct but then it comes to a game and they dont correct the other things the team is doing wrong like throw in's, corner kicks, goal kicks ,just so they can win cause its in there favor! amazing! id teach the kid before a win. maybe the other coach doesnt know and needs to be told.

my biggest gripe is parents and coaches fall soccer weather is cold rain and snow, if you dont want to play in it dont coach if you dont want to bring your kids because of it think of a different sport.

Coach Case allows her kid to do sliding kicks that are illegal in all other venues. I wouldn't want my child on the team and wish we didn't have to play them.

Thats why your kids will remain mediocre in life. The AYSO mentality is what is bringing down this country and is socialistic at best. Go ahead and teach your kid "we dont keep score because the outcome doesnt matter as long as everyone plays". The Case teams crush people because they get it, and they dont buy into the AYSO crap. Good luck, Loser.

Couldnt agree more. I'm tired of listening to the whining from other coaches and parents. AYSO mentality...thats so true.

ok, so at the next game lets have BPD on standby and cuff the little guy for being one of the best players! Wouldnt want anything "illegal" goin on in the big game of AYSO.
Why dont you have your child get his/her hand out of their pockets long enough to actually kick the ball around and maybe you wouldnt be on here complaining over something so minor? Then you would have something to be proud of yourself instead!

oh yea...Go RED!! Coach case, I also think you rock! Even if my kids isnt on your team. You obviously have a great way of teaching or your teams wouldnt always go undefeated!(But who's keeping track right)
