About time. Him and his little druggie friends and family need to get locked up. People think that drugs are no big deal. Guess you might think diffrent if one of your loved ones were in the car. So what if my bf/gf does drugs I don't use them. This isnthe reason drugs are illegal and it does effect others. Glad he didn't kill anyone in his truck or other vehicals.

At least the cops followed the accident up with some appropriate charges, this time.

I hope that in the future they will look at some of the more lenient charges that were handed out at the time of the infringement and adjust the charges accordingly, you know, in retrospect.

Sometimes it takes a while for the accident to be seen in a different light, when all the facts are in and they have time to reflect on the incident. No harm in that.

My dad died and my mother worked very hard to...so that means I can be a screw up and it's okay? Sorry, we all make choices and he made some poor ones. We could have been reading 1,2 or 3 obituaries in the paper instead of reading about an arrest.

Unfortunately we can all look back on our past and see we have made bad choices. Many of us still do after all we are only human. It's also unfortunate that instead of trying to help this young man turn his life around and learn from this mistake people are out to ridicule and judge. And before anyone gets riled up and assumes....No, I am not related. Good luck to you Ryan.

Well really. He has got help and he's burned that help. For some there is no help if they don't want it. So how about the help we give him and his kind is forced detox and clean up while under supervision of the state board of corrections. Maybe they will have better luck

He won't change because he isn't being held accountable for his actions. Apparently he is surrounded by a group of enablers so he doesn't have to grow up or follow the laws like the rest of us do.

It amazes me just how idiotic, hypocritical , and judgemental most of the residents in Lewis County are. First off if you all truly knew anything at all about Ryan. or the situation surrounding the accident then you would. not have such ridiculous comments to say pon the issue. He is a good guy and yes he has made some mistakes , have'nt we all? Oh that's right.. everyone in the North country are picture perfect citizen's ... stupid me I must of forgot. Anyone that has been around him before, during ,or after the accident should know that he has been affected greatly and is not the same person as he was... is many ways he is a better person .. and of course he is not petfect he is human and you also have to remember he is young... and what about the other so callef "innocent victims" involved... they knew that they should have not ever been out and about with those boys and were the ones who begged those boys to keep quiet and didn't want there parents to find out where they were that night or who they were with.. maybe Ryan and Travis thought they were protecting those little troublemakers and what about the parents- Shouldn't they have had some clue as to what the girls were doing... Ryan is the ONLY one involved being held accountable!!! Its absurd that it to 6 months for charges to be brought against him and he is paying for it ten fold... so you should all remember that they call it a accident because know one wants to roll there brand new truck with his best friend and two others in it for the hell of it... and for the record he was NOT on drugs ... it was said there may have been traces of THC in his system and the toxicology report says NO DRUGS were found... He is the one living through it and surviving everyday while he is working his ass off to pay for the aftermath and owning up to the poor descion he made.... Those who live in glass houses really shouldn't throw stones... Really ppl grow up and move on...
