i think c-ville bowling alleys are a great place to hang out and have fun....but lately it seems like no one cares or has the time any more. dee dee and nancy are the only ones trying to keep it open for everyone else to enjoy. why should they work hard for everyone to walk out on them? when something goes wrong its automatically put on them to deal with it. mollie would not want it to be like this. people should decide if they want to be there and part of the league, or not even be there at all. they can't do it on there own.

They need new machines, they go in every week to clean and check on things, no one else will do it. I hear their trying to contact a company to inquire about used machines. But if the place is gonna close up will they still do it. its a shame.

I think they should hold a meeting regarding the situation, with everyone in the league there. they should vote on who still wants to keep it going, and who doesn't. if they don't show for the meeting, they are off the team. there is no reason why everyone shouldn't be able to get together and discuss this matter and get it straightened out. the lanes have been there for too long, no need in giving up now.

They have had meetings and certain people show up and the others dont. Then they make a decision and no one wants to do it after that or they come in drunk and stupid and know one wants to be around them or bowl with them. Just to set the story straight, Nancy and DeeDee dont do everything around there. There have been alot of people doing alot of things not just them.

ok so they may not do everything, but they do more than most. they are dedicated to the bowling alley. i kno most of the time people bowl drunk and act stupid, which ruins it for others....if that's the case maybe someone should put flyers around and get some new people in there....get some new teams. and try to raise money by doing some fundraisers. if enough people come together... then it can work.

the bowling banq is coming up, thier going to decide if its going to open back up next fall or not. the machines are pretty bad, in need of repair but pretty costly. they've been in there since the 70's and they were used machines.

Not to change the subject, but I don't want to start a new forum on this: I understand that Billie Jo has died. Does anyone know what happened? She was living in Illinois. I haven't talked with her in so many years, but used to know her. The obituary is vague with no funeral arrangements at this time. I hope her family is doing okay.
