There were little league sign ups, but some dawn lady was telling everyone there is not gonna be any tee ball in C'Ville this year. Anybody know what's going on? The kids had so much fun last year!

word is dawn and ed are running jamie out of c'ville and not letting him coach.....cville never had tee ball before jamie came along and did it......if you want tee ball then someone else needs to step up and do it........too bad...... jamie is good with the kids.

Dave Goodhines donated his time and coached the Little League team in C'Ville for 18 years. He never had any kids in the program yet he still gave his time year after year. Last year they ran him out so that Dawn Rava-Crofoot could step in and take over the team. She will coach until her boys are no longer playing and then C'Ville will be scrambling for a coach. Thank you Dave Goodhines for the time you donated to the children of our community!

I'd also like to say Thank You so much to Dave. He did a great job and put in a lot of effort while working superlong hours at his job. Your effort didn't go unnoticed. Don't think too many will miss Jamie. Hopefully someone nice will take over that doesn't yell and chase after other coaches and parents in front of the kids. We need someone thats mature and a good example to our children plus communicates well with the parents.

I TOTALLY disagree about Jamie! My child has played Tee Ball for Jamie and I was at every practice and every game and NEVER saw anything that you are accussing him of. He even lugged his music equipment up to the field and announced the kids throughout the game, making them feel important. From where I was standing the parents liked him and the kids liked him even more!!!! He was a blessing to have coach my child, and I NEVER EVER heard him ever yell at a child, NEVER!!! He cominucates with the children extremely well. The kids almost seem like they think of him as a big kid.

I did hear about a baseball game where Tim Swerdoski and Tom Randall were in the booth above the field casuing trouble. I was not there, but heard from other parents that Jamie handled himself very professionally and Tim was the one swearing and Tim and Joe Mows were the ones trying to egg Jamie into coming off the field to fight. All of this in front of the kids! And Jamie never did a thing but continue to coach the game. Tim Swerdoski was the one swearing and in the wrong, and knowing C'Ville, they will have him coaching this year.

Jamie has it tough in C'Ville because that is where is ex wife is from and all her family. And the Randall's do not like him either, apparently because Tom got rubbed the wrong way by Jamie in a Field Days softball game 15 years ago. And Jamie still treats the Randall kids and his ex's families kids as good as the other kids if not better. You people need to grow up and realize you are running out a man who cares about your children.

I can't believe they are not gonna let Jamie caoch anymore. That does not seem right. My son loves him and all he talks about is playing baseball for Mr. Dorrity again this year. What is wrong with some people. Honestly, go to an awards ceremony at C'Ville school. You would think Jamie is a teacher there. The kids just gravitate to him and give him high fives all the time.
Thank you

Jamie IS good with coaching the kids. It's his maturity that causes concern. He always seems to have problems with adults, other coaches, and authority. I was at that game when he and Tim got into it. Tim was helping with scoring. He was giving advice to a batter from the scoring booth, and Jamie yelled at him stating that if he wanted to give advice he should be the coach. I couldn't believe my ears that he would yell at a parent like that and in front of everyone! Then an argument proceeded between the two of them, with Jamie telling Tim to leave. Tim left the booth and went over and stood by joe mows and proceeded to yell back at Jamie telling him to settle it off the field right then. Joemows didn't say or do anything. He just stood there shaking his head side to side. Then Tim left. If they have problems, they shouldn't bring it to the field! This was only one incident. There were others with coaches. If he doesn't get what he wants, he acts like a kid. Again, he IS good with the kids, but his adult behavior is questionable. If he's not going to be coaching, it would be nice to have someone that's also a good coach like he is, but is a better role model.

the last post about sums up the attitude in c'ville....jamie is a good coach and good with the kids....but he has problems with adults, other coaches and authority....so to sum it up....jamie is good with the kids.....but he wants to run his own team.....not do things as the other coaches and parents(adults) and authority (certian cville people) want him to do things....any person who VOLUNTEERS thier time to coach your kids should be left alone....maybe if people would have left jamie alone with the baseball team like they do for the tee ball team he would have had as much success with baseball as the overwhelming positive feedback tee ball gets.....look at dawn's facebook page....she has been asked more than once about tee ball and what was going on and she refuses to answer....i hope jamie still coaches tee ball this year cause regardless of what the adults, other coaches & authority in cville say...he does a wonderful job with it!

i was also at the game with the trouble with tim.....i do not know what the disagreement was about.....but i can tell you that jamie never swore once.......and according to the adults in the concession stand tim was swearing at the umpire repeatedly from the booth....and myself and many other witness heard tim use the f-word repeadedly and loudly to jamie in front of all of the kids.....maybe joe mow was shaking his head at tim's lanuage? tim's adult behavior is questionable....as well as that of everyone else who sits outside the fence and critisizes the ones volunteering every night with thier kids.
