Why does the cheerleaders show up for a football game or any high school event. They do nothing but stand around and talk and don't even know iota about the game in progress. Also where are the leaders of these groups. Some of the better cheerleaders are on the jv squad. The crowd doesn't even get into the cheers anymore and the reason for this is because they (cheerleaders) show no iterest what so ever as to what happens in the game in progress. May as well have elementary girls out there. They cheer better at thee grade school level than anywhere. Maybe the varsity should take lessons from them.

Seriously? No. The cheerleaders were cheering the whole game, I can't stand cheerleaders during the game (sorry not my thing) but they did their job just fine and they should be proud. Sorry you have a bone to pick with these girls, but I'm not seeing a single thing you are talking about.

I did...they really only get into a cheer when the announcer starts leading the crowd. It's a sorry bunch for sure.

I hope the cheer leader who got dropped on her head and back will be ok. She looked like she was really hurt.

They work hard and can do more things than I could ever think to do. I am not a parent I only know a few of them by name. I can tell you when there have been games on Saturday and they are not there, you can tell the differnce. They have a presense that is needed. The problem is the crowd does not cheer much along with them; if the crowd did it would make a HUGE differnce

I do not have any connection to CHS cheerleaders but I can say that they have improved greatly over the last few years. I am very proud of our CHS cheerleaders! They work together as a team to promote school spirit, do very difficult stunts, cheer during the entire game, and most of all they are GREAT girls! Yes a girl fell last night, but injuries happen in every sport! A focus is not placed on football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling, etc injuries-Cheerleading should not be any different! Accidents happen. The CHS cheerleaders work hard, and they are a very talented group of leaders at CHS! Great Job CHS cheerleaders keep up the good work!

From my view she did not fall. The ground crew failed to catch her!

I don't know what game you all were at but it wasn't at the homecoming game. They do tricks that gets them hurt, and they don't do any cheers that the people in the stands understand. The only time I heard encouragement from the crowd and fans came at their own accord. None of the cheerleaders got involved. They don't even know the game itself to know what cheers to do. I thought the sponsors should help in this matter or do any of them know the game of football. I've seen better cheerleaders from years ago that were better than todays. They have more uniforms but does that make a cheerleader. Sorry people wake up for what it is.

I didn't see anyone react to the girl that fell or didn't get cauoght by the other girls; what ever you want to call it? The girl still fell because of the lack of skill and knowledge of the soooooo called coach who is not caring!! I would say the coach is in it for the money from the Indy track(Sale of alcohol that the school lets happen)!!!!!
