I've never smoked it and don't plan too and i say Legalize it and slap the same laws of alcohol on it. it's less harmful then cigaret's, it's non addicting, you cant overdose on it, it has shown good results in treating cancer, seizures, migraines, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, tourette’s, OCD, ADD, IBS, Crohn’s diseases, alzheimer’s diseases and like everyone else said, it would be good for the economy. so why the hell not?

Just one more step for this country into the moral abyss.

Comparing it to another substance that has caused so much pain and sorrow (alcohol) doesn't lend credence to making it legal ... quite the opposite actually.

I'm in total agreement. Legalize everything, I say. Legalize Pot, pills, H, cocaine, all of it. And then tax the sh*t out of it. Countries like Holland, Switzerland, etc... have got the right idea on THIS issue. You are always going to have people who like to get high socially, or even everyday. You will always have addiction, too. So, do it just like alcohol, make the age limit 21. And let GO...

You'll see a decrease in crime, the Cartel won't need to be so ruthless anymore. There may be an increase in drug related deaths, for a while. But, like everything else illegal. It loses it's hold with regard to the 'game' of trying to beat the feds, if it's not illegal anymore.

The addicts will always be there. But, the attraction it holds because it's 'forbidden' will lesson with time.

No one gives a damn about what you think is moral. In fact I find that quite amusing that smoking the "devils" weed is one more step into moral abyss. Come on we have well passed that step in morality issues in this country ( for those of you that are worried about morality issues ). Also when someone says "common sense" about a subject it is usually a vague, skating the issue statement about a particular subject, G W Bush was an champion of this type of response.

If other states can make it legal, so should Indiana. Tax it like booze and everything else we own. Make it legal to grow your own.
