Most of you on here can't seem to comprehend this concept and seem to think public forums are only for uneducated, illiterate and rumor spreading posting, but let's maybe try showing a little kindness, respect and above all, LOVE, on here.

Love. It's just that simple.

But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

I was just reading the thread about the 'free food giveaway'. What kind of world are we living in when people carry on so hateful about people trying to feed their kids in hard times? So few volunteer their time to help distribute these commodities to so many, while the majority on here wail and cry that someone is getting something free? My father used to always say to "never turn away a hungry person, it may be Jesus". I believe it was a saying that came in the Great Depression. I also read where even the biggest lot they could give would only last a small family a week. Then what?

Can't we look beyond our own good fortunes and biases? If they ask us for our shirt, give them also our coat.

Love. It's just that simple.

what about the people getting yhis free food and selling it on the north side of the truck? how is that helping their kids? i think they should do away with food stamps and give commodities instead. maybe then the needy kids could eat better.

I hope we can all look around and instead of seeing what's WRONG, we can look around and see what's RIGHT. We keep saying "When Connersville WAS great", when we should be saying, "Connersville IS great".

Let's convince the world that LOVE grows right here in Connersville, and like our water supply, we have enough for everybody!!

Love. It's just that simple.

So you ever notice that all churches lock the doors so if jesus stops by at midnight will the door be locked ?

As it is taught, Jesus IS the door.

Churches are physical buildings and are vulnerable to human vandalism and theft and must try to protect themselves. The spiritual 'church' is the heart, my friend.
