Thank you lord, and i dont mean jobe! Rain finally got snow off street. You would think trash cans were the only thing that mattered. So far i give jobe a d-, but an e for ego.

I agree, the Street Dept should have taken a day to plow the alleys intersections and clean up the curbs for parking. On 4th street in front of the Canal House was a mess. The man was taking down the tree and had to pull his trailer on the sidewalk where there was less snow because that section of the street needed to be plowed.

considering jobe and the boys only dropped off the totes the delivery people missed. Why did the delivery people miss so many adresses? they were contracted from another somewhere to pass out the totes in a town that they were not familiar with. So many little apartments in alleys and such were missed cause they just dropped where they saw a house on the main street. When my tote was not delivered I reported it in to jobe and the boys and they came and took my neighbors tote and rolled it up on my sidewalk and left. when I told lady at the office this she said the totes were assigned by number to track if they were stolen. When the street dept worker came back I questioned him about this and that the tote he wanted me to keep was already assigned to the neighbor, He got real short with me and mumbled something about there were two totes left there, I said I know there wasnt and could prove that it was not my tote by checking the number. That pissed him off, But it wasnt my fault they should have had the people who pick up the trash pass out the totes for they know every place a trash container should be by heart and another fiasco could have been avoided if some one would have just thought about it a moment. I'm sure there are hundreds of others that still dont have a tote.

. Like I stated on another post, who in fact has our assigned trash tote number that we can call to verify, that we have the right one. Just in case it's stolen and the city wants to charge a deposit for a new one.. Maybe we should all put our address in white paint marker on the underside of the lid,to identify.. Like they mark your stuff in schools and nursing homes to keep people honest. Hopefully we don't get arrested for "defacing" city property...

You will certainly complain about too much salt eating at your rusted out ford ( oops did I say something bad).
Stay in.
