If people would just follow the simple rules things would run smoother in c'ville. I understand if someone is not happy but it is childish antics. People want to throw temper tantrums instead of sucking it up. People wander what is wrong with this town and I say spend a day on topix and you will come to realize some people are just plain ignorant.

Went smooth as silk in my neighborhood. Pretty impressed with the speed and accuracy of the driver - Good Job!

Seemed like things went well on 44W. However, a white pick-up truck with a light on top was following the garbage truck. A man jumped out of the pick-up truck after trash was picked up and closed the lid on each tote. What's up with that?? What's the point in doing that?

What I know is that the truck picked up trash in my neighborhood this past Wed. The driver was driving way too fast and was whipping it around the turns. He did a fine job picking up the trash with the new truck. As long as you have plenty of room in front of your house for the toter- you know, no cars parked very near by. The white street dept. truck followed him, but didn't do anything.

If the real driver should happen to read this, better slow it down a bit.

No need for thought. It is a foreign process in Fayette County. Even our leaders fail the test!

Biggest thing I saw is too much trash for the tote. Doesnt it eliminate the whole point of this when the drivers still have to pick up bags on the ground ? Hows that going to be fixed ?

Saw one tote on the back side of a tree pointed the wrong way, It was full with Bags stacked on either side of it and on top. A limb was hanging off the tree about a half foot above the toter. Houdini himselft couldnt have figured out how to get that tote out of there.

Saw the new trash truck today. Was a little surprised to see two guys riding in the back of the truck. Thought the New truck was to eliminate that? Anyway, news trash truck stopped, two guys jumped off, one guy dragged a toter, other guy grabbed the automatic arm, toter met arm, arm lifted the toter, emptied the trash, toter lowered back on the ground, one guy disconnect the toter from the arm, dragged the toter back to pickup spot and left the lid open.
Thought, the new trash truck was to eliminate the 2 guys from riding on the back; keep them from stepping off into uneven surface and slippery ground in winter months?? Safety and employee compensation pay?? Oh yea, What was up with the pickup truck following the new trash truck? Waste of gas, waste of residents $100,000.00. There goes the tax payers money again. Great Idea!! I say, lets vote them ALL in for another 8 years!! They are bound to find the TRUTH there somewhere among all their books of ethics.

Looked to me like the guys in the truck were "observing" for the most part - looking for problems, check to see if everything was emptied etc.

CM just ran a CON job on Connersville. They picked out a town that needed jobs. They promised the stars and moon. When citizens saw the size of the CM sign at Visteon, all should have known that they were spending the least amount possible--- Take a lot and give little in retrurn.

I hope it was a typo, but it is "set" out your trash, not "sit".

Every house in Connersville will be billed, even if you rent. The renter pays for the tote not the home owner. Bend over and get ready for it. Got to get that Carbon money back some how.
