White van in our neighborhood

Has anyone had a grayish white van pull up in their driveway and a black woman comes to your door with some kind of cleaner in her hand? There is a man driving the van and other people are in the van. They said something about doing a demo. Nothing looked right about them or legitimate. Our whole neighborhood is looking out for them now after a couple of incidents with them.

It seems they are going all over the county. I had them knocking on my door two or three weeks ago, the van went to my neighbor's house and people in a car came to my house. The guy opened my screen door, then shut it (probably because he could hear my TV), then rang the door bell. When I answered the door he had something in his hand and said, "Have you ever tried this?" Of course I told him I wasn't interested and shut and locked my door. They were acting wierd. My neighbor called and said the same thing about the woman who came to her door. So now we're finding out there has been quite a few break in's, during the daytime, in our area. I'm thinking these people may be the culprits or have something to do with it. We live in the country by the way, so it's a bit scarey.

You should contact the STATE and COUNTY police, if enough people are vigilant these people will be caught. when there are this many break ins it's usually several people involved. i'd bet they are repeat offenders. We should try to get more info, license plate # , make and model, details about the vehicle, marks or dings, wheel covers, e.t.c.

They were at my house yesterday before dark on State Road 1 North of Visteon. They went to another house on State Road 1. Neither of us opened the door for them. They said something about doing a demo and had like dishwashing liquid in a bottle. If everyone is turning them away then where are they getting the money to be driving around everyday? The van looked like a Chrysler maybe with a slanted front and odd color of white, maybe a gray tint. The windows were dark and a man was driving, but the front window was so tinted couldn't see what he looked like and when the door slid back on right side a black woman got out with a bottle in her hand and there was someone else in the van. I met her at the door and told her I wasn't interested, but there was just something not right about it. I felt like they were scoping out the area. Some of my other neighbors are keeping an eye out for them now.

I live on Gregg rd and they were knocking on our door at 730 last night. He was very determined to come and and do his demonstration. As I was telling him no he was looking into our house and still wanting to come in. I just didn't have a good feeling about the whole situation.

Get a plate number then call the police. When they leave hop in your vehicle and follow them while giving 911 the details.

What is sad, we need to get this information from Topix and not the front page of the News Examiner from the police. The more people that are aware what is going on is better for the police. More eyes!

It is bad when you need to pack while mowing grass in the rural areas. Telling a robber to wait while I go to the house and get my gun, doesn't get it.

I seen these two on my way home from work black male and female . Female had some kinda spray in her hand at door of a persons residence and black man was standing back behind her and there was a white van sitting in drive way.

meet them at the door with a 12-guage shotgun in their face.see how fast they run and leave your neighborhood then.might piss theirself while leaving, maybe even worse, haha!!! maybe they can use their cleaning solution to clean themselves up.

I am pretty sure that this is the people who sale the Kirby. They were in our neighborhood with like 5 people in a suv with dark windows. The lady came to our door with the shampoo liquid because if you let them shampoo a portion of your carpet with the new kirby you get a discount.

yep..carry a handgun....yep have 12 gauge for home defense...yep big scary guard dog with purty white teeth....come to my house and try to break in and they will feel the wrath of an everyday american protecting their own....sounds like they are all over the place...gas is expensive! They will be caught if they keep the same van...but don't bet on it...thieves read topix too

I live in the Centerville/Abington and myself along with all of the neighbors have had run in's with the people. The van pulled halfway up my driveway and the black man was trying to sell me some kind of air freshener or cleaner. When I urged him to leave he left and BACKED out of the driveway, even though I have a turn around that is wide open and easy accessible. They did the same thing to all the neighboring houses

if they have been inside your house..you better be vigilant or you will be robbed... Most demo sales these days don't do cold calls like that because of the criminal aspect. If they had a decal on the vehicle or some sort of uniform or id that MIGHT be different. BEWARE of any unsolicited visitor these days!
