Most of that silly posting of so called Stimulus money going to foreign countries is a lie. The internet is full of reliable sources that refer to it as being a Romney ad that is false. In plain words a Fricking attempt to lie to the people.

I dont believe that Zoe is an expert as to what is true and what isn't true. But I don't believe that you know what is and isn't true either.

What I do know is that when Romney called Obama with this:

"You put $90 billion into -- into green jobs. And I -- look, I'm all in favor of green energy.$90 billion, that would have -- that would have hired 2 million teachers.$90 billion.

And these businesses, many of them have gone out of business, I think about half of them, of the ones have been invested in have gone out of business. A number of them happened to be owned by people who were contributors to your campaigns." ... Obama didn't even try to deny it.

What about today? Did he deny it today? Again, no (he was too busy making jokes about Big Bird).

So it seems that Obama knows that the money he gave out went to many companies that are no longer in business, and that much of it went to large campaign contributors (pretty much like Zoe said). So you and Zoe both aside, I have to believe what I see.

In an presidential election, one in which none of us will know what is on the hearts and minds of the candidates, since we'll never get to know them ... this is what we have to go with.

Not always! I am considered middle class income and I don't qualify for any government assistance and my health insurance has a 1500.00 annual deductable which costs me nearly 200.00 a month. So getting an annual mammogram for me would be another financial burden So don't think that free helpful preventative proceedures are only for low income medicaid citizens.

I'm do glad to see that all if you still don't get it. You all want change for the better but you're doing exactly what you're wanted to do and that's bicker back and forth over two candidates. You have been "trained" to choose a side and stand up for it. There are two sides but not the two party paradigm you have been led into but the government and the people. You all should agree to disagree on most of these meaningless arguments between the dems and reps because all it truly is is campaign rhetoric. They will both make promises and they both will break them. You will be told anything for your vote as well as anything that makes the other guy look bad. The true issue here is that you need to know that your vote doesn't matter. It's been influenced already by major media and ad campaigns to the point that an election really doesn't even need to be held. Unless you have millions or billions of dollars you need to be worrying about why we are force fed politicians instead of fighting for one or the other. Just my humble opinion.

What a jaded perspective you have of our electorial system. Is it perfect? No. But it is the best in the world. Does the media have a profound effect on the process? For some. However others are not so easily influenced and use various forms of information to form their options.

We are not dogs and not 'trained' to do anything. As far as your critique on the two party system, what are you inferring? A five party system? Do you realize votes would be split to the point that a majority win would result with less than 50% of the vote? Regarding the banter on here, if you don't like it read another thread. Perhaps one who has herpes in town would appeal to you?

First and foremost, I didn't refer to anyone as a dog, I simply stated that the majority of this nation has bought into the multitude of propaganda that is fed to them daily. As for what I stated about the " two party paradigm", its obviously the best in the world because its bought and paid for. Two parties fighting each other in public but conspiring to back room deals that WE THE PEOPLE have no say in. It's the classic look at the right hand to forget about the left. If you can honestly state that you don't see this in history or in the present day then sir/ma'am you really need to open your eyes and mind to escape from being force fed a political idea.

I refuse to vote for a candidate whose helpers are too dang lazy to get out of their vehicle and come to my door and ask for my vote! These people were riding around my neighborhood, pulling over and putting flyers for Viv Himelick under the flags of
mailboxes. Most of them blew off the mailboxes and littered our yards and streets. What happened to old fashioned foot work? Do the Republicans think they are too good to go door to door? I already have had 2 Democrat candidates come to my door and not only ask for my vote but also shook my hand. That, my friends, is how you campaign for a vote!

Hypocrisy "is" the democratic party. Do As I say not As I Do. Dems are smarter than the rest of us and always have the "correct" answer.
