I can smell a class action suit. I hope Myers has a lot of liability insurance. When he stores and spreads that crap and the Walmart people begin to lose a lot of money for 3 or 4 days because no one wants to go there because of the smell. I can imagine all kinds of asthma and breathing difficulties surfacing. COPD etc.

We the undersigned residents of __________ County respectively
request that the APC and Commissioners review the county ordinance. We
believe there should be setbacks for siting on all satellite manure storage
facilities. The definition of a manure storage facility as defined by IDEM
means any pit, pad, pond, lagoon, tank, building, or manure containment
areas used to store or treat manure including any portion of buildings used
specifically for manure storage or treatment.
Due to the potential for water pollution, air pollution, health, and quality of
life issues, we request that each proposed manure storage facility be
required to have a hearing open to public input.
Also, for those satellite manure storage facilities that are proposed under the
numbers regulated by IDEM either solid or liquid manure it would seem
prudent to require soil testing.

Why not just store it in the bins it is delivered in ? If it is dumped out of the bins at site, it will have to be put back into the bins to ship, yeah ? So, leave it in the bins, put the bins in a storage building and not loose on a floor like the corn stored in Visteon. Any mice/rats/birds find their way in to Visteon yet ?

Store it those 'coffin liners' FEMA has; over a million of them. Maybe use some railroad cars and push them up the unused tracks at Beeson's Station.

Names to remember for another day.

Our "backyard" is okay as long as it is not in their "backyard".
Wind Turbines, CAFO's and Chicken Poop.

Fayette County Council
President Shirley Wise
cautioned against too
much government intervention
that will not
allow farmers to farm
from the

“Not In My
Back Yard”

attitude.

Kari Keller-Steele,(Miss CAFO)
CEO Ag Environmental
Systems, said the people
that work in state offices
need to have accountability
because they are
not consistent across the
board. Farmers are
treated differently for
the same issue maybe
because the

“not in my
back yard” people

have
harassed the agency so
much, they find something
no mater how
small.

It is my backyard, not yours, so WHINE somewhere else.

Quotes are from today's paper(NE).

You are all a bunch of bad a$$es when you don't have to sign your name. Go back to sucking down your cigarettes and collecting your welfare checks. I bet you all think the food you eat comes from the grocery store don't you?

Are you serious? You get on here and sign your name as big Richard ( which should have been big Richard head)and yet you have the gall to put others down for not using their real name?!!! I really hate to burst your know-it-all bubble but most people on this side of town who are not happy with this have job's, and most don't smoke. But, that is par for the course most like you and the Myer's family always look down on people and think their above others. We do not have issues with farmers in general and know they are very important for our country but that does NOT mean they are GOD and can do whatever, whenever they please. We have a right to speak our concern's and fight for what we believe and want just as they do. The bottom line is The Myer's family DOES NOT want to smell or deal with it in their own backyard that is why they want to put it somewhere else!! Mr. Myer's can say all he wants about how cheap and how much easier will be for him to get, all he wants is it somewhere else other than his own BACKYARD!!!! Oh, Mrs. Myer's most people know there is more to farming than driving a tractor that it is more like a business and very hard work with long hours so please don't insult the community like your something or someone!! What is so funny about all this is the fact most farmer's are so quick to look down and make fun of people on food stamps, Medicaid, etc...but how is it any different from the grant's, freebis, and perks the farmer's get from the government? Kind of a double standard if you ask me!
so agree

One thing for sure is the Myers's family doesn't want this building next to their homes. They want it next to someone elses homes. They will have no regard when they spread this manure for the terrible odor breath taking odor it presents. Manure spreading takes place throughout the county but it is injected into the ground creating very little airborne odor.

This place starts out as an equipment storage building, after permits are issued the truth comes out its a Chicken Chit storage building for Donnie and Kendra Myers to store their manure in, then a little more truth comes out and now its going to be a building where its stored and sold to other farmers. Is this zoned for business ? When will building # 2 and #3 go up ?

Was that about 30 years ago?? That's pathetic that you would even say that. You should have paid attention to the teacher in school instead of them. You would understand why "the women that runs with Kenda" is incorrect.

People you need to stay informed. Your homes will decrease 50% of its value if this building goes up. Check with people in Ohio on this they cant give their homes away. Open your eyes and keep informed.
