I heard this news probably 15 minutes after it happened, but I had enough respect to not post it on this HORRID site!! It is very sad to hear and Dustin will be forever missed by his friends and family. No one ever knows really why people do these things but those he left behind will always bear the grief of losing him. May he rest in peace. Please remember that he had friends, family and children that loved him very much - Don't make this a bashing session.

I was thinking that his last name was Lutz, as his fathers is. I hope people will keep the family in prayer. so sad that someone with so much to look forward to (children, family) would take their own life. We just never know. What ever pushed him to this end, is now gone. I pray that he is at peace and that his family will seek God's comfort.

I am so sad to find out from reading it on this site. I dated Dustin throughtout middle and high school- we were first loves. I haven't kept in touch with him and have no idea what life has been like for him for the past ten years- but in school- he was a great person!! He treated all with kindness and respect and loved to have a good time and laugh. I'm so very sorry to his family and am saddened that the world will be without such a wonderful guy. To his aunt Kathy and her children that raised him- I'm sooo very very sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace. You were always thought of Dustin and will be truly missed!

Wow! I can't believe this is true. It's so sad that anyone would take their own lives, but really hits home when it's someone you grew up with. Dustin really was a good guy and just liked to have a good time like the rest of us. I heard that he was battling some demons and they must've got the best of him. My sympathy to his family and friends and may his children only ever remember the best that he ever was. Hope you are in peace now...know that we always enjoyed being around you!

He is the only one who can save people from things like this. I THINK IT IS TIME THAT PEOPLE STEPPED UP AND REALIZED THIS. There are TO MANY deaths in this town, so many lives wasted to ADDICTION, AND SUICIDE...it's heart breaking. I JUST WANT EVERYONE ON HERE TO KNOW THAT IF YOU EVER FEEL LIKE THERE IS NO WAY OUT, LIKE THERE IS NO HOPE, JESUS IS THAT HOPE YOUR LOOKING FOR! HE'S THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTIONS, YOUR COMFORT IN TIME OF NEED...HE IS THE ROCK WHEN YOU HAVE NO SOLID GROUND! Why is that to hard to grasp? It's rather simple!

1 Peter 4:3 says " For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do-living in debauchery, lust, drunkeness, orgies, carousing and detestable isolatry"

Aren't you ready for a change? Arent you ready to be set free?

I leave you with this:

Acts16:27-31
"The Jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. But Paul Shouted, "Don't harm yourself! We ae still here!" The Jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must i do to be saved?" They Replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household."

John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have ever lasting life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

I have to say unless you yourself have tried to take your life or have been anywhere close to doing such a thing, your mind isn't thinking about anything except for ways to end your life. I beleive in God and I am all for this however I have been down this road and GOd was the last thing from my mind, when depression kicks in that is all a person knows they can't think or see clearly. Depression is a mental illness and sometimes a person seeks so deep into that depression they can't get out. SO instead of preaching to reach for GOD, try giving condolence to those who lost a loved one, a father, a brother, a son, a nephew, an uncle. I have to say my heart goes out to this family and I have to say may GOd be their for them in their time of need.

My heart does go out to the people in this family, my Fiance was related to Dustin. My comment wasn't an attack to the family by any means, I just want to get the word out there that God CAN do amazing things. Maybe someone thats lost read my comment, and it hit a nerve, maybe someone out there needs to hear it-I'm not ashamed that I Believe in God, and i will Testify to people about the great things that he can do for eveyone, as long as they are willing to accept Jesus into their heart, the power of God is endless.

As you were saying about depression, it's a sickness. I Too suffered with depression (it's a sickness that runs in my family), but once I started going to church, and feeding myself with the Word, I have been cured from it. My Fiance has delt with anxiety problems and panic attacks, as well as bi-polar all his life, and when he gave JEsus his heart, he was cured. There is NOTHING that god CAN"T do, he can do anything and eveything! Never put limitations on him!

Speak life into things, For you to draw the line that when you are depressed or on the verge of taking your own life thats "all you think about" is a common misconception. Most people want help its either they don't get it, or no one is willing to really listen. Sometimes no one ever knows about a problem someone has until tragedy strikes. Don't be quick to think you know what runs through eveyones head. Everyone is unique and their own person, they have their own thoughts and problems, no 2 people can be classified as being alike in any way.

My condolances go out to the family and just know if you seek God with your whole heart and soul, He WILL help you through this.
