<quoted text>Your all crazy, what is wrong with you.It starts like the other person said, these kids do NOT need to be running around an early age!! Your just to busy with your own lives, just let them go, hoping they will fit in with the now crowd. there is now way these 14 and 15 even 16 year old kids sure be running like thy do! IT'S your fault the parents, not the childs! Some of them just learn cause they have so many step brothers and half, or just live in families. They know they don't want to live like that, they're the smart ones!! WOW bet this goes in one ears and out the other, LOL
And you don't think that kids sneak around? Or hide the fact that they have boyfriends or girlfriends if they're not allowed to? If you become the perfect parent that prevents your child from making any mistakes while they're growing up, let us know! There are a lot of good parents that end up in these situations with their kids, and it doesn't mean that they don't pay attention to what their kids are doing. Kids do have sex and they will more than likely find a way. All I'm saying is to take initiative as a parent, and maybe prevent a pregnancy from happening at least in high school, or even middle school. You would be pretty naive to think that your perfect kid won't ever have sex before they are finished with school. I know some actually do save themselves, but look at statistics... They are greatly outnumbered by the kids who choose to have sex.

I think kids do sneak and parents should keep an open mind to this . Once they want to have a boyfriend at an early age go along with it but set limits no alone time , parents must be with them at all times , home visits , outing with the parents, maybe this would keep everything in the open and teen wouldn't feel they have to sneak. Sneaking leads to not trusting and makes a bad relationship between parent and child .

It's been quite a while since I had a teen but even in the 90's my husband and I were very concerned when our daughter's entered their teens. Hubby had a difficult time addressing "girl" stuff :) but we both kept the lines of communication open. We also didn't wear rose colored glasses where the girls were concerned. At the age of 12 we had the condom talk with them which was probably as embarassing for them as us. When they reached the age of 16 and started to date their first "love" I sat down with them for a talk. I only asked one think of them which required a promise. We wrote out a little contract which stated that if their relationship, in their opinion, was about to enter a sexual basis, they were to come to me. I would then take them to a GYN for consultation and prescription of birth control. If their relationship got to that level, they were to also use a condom for backup along with possibility of STD's.
Was this conversation diffcult? Yes. Were they embarrassed? Hell to the yes :). In the end, both of them did come to me, we signed the contract and birth control pills were obtained.
This might sound too liberal for some parents but I came of age in the 60's and had a mother that could never have uttered the word birth control much less even talk to me abut STD's or sex period.
Unfortunately, I believe that many teens are in the same boat today either with parents who won't discuss the issue or don't care.
I got lucky in that neither kid snuck out of the house...there are advantages to living out in the boonies...lol.
Parent's have got to set down and speak openly with their kids, let them know that the've been there and are there for them.

Talk to em about having common sense.. most ppl definitely don't have any especially young dumb kids.. first you should always know what your kids are doing and who they're with. I've been in three relationships, my first one lasting five years. We started dating when she was sixteen and i was eighteen. A guy has a hell of a lot more control than they let on.. its common sense to pull out when you have sex if you're gonna have it. I sure as hell wouldn't have no problem telling my son or daughter about these things. First I'd tell em the importance of not having sex until they are ready. Which is when you're with someone for awhile. Depending on the age they shouldn't be having it at all, but if they are going to tell them to use a condom and have him pull out. It's common sense, you can say these things however you want as long as you get the message across. Sex is fun and it feels great lol i know i was horny as hell and still am all the time. I'm not a whore though and I've always been cautious even when not using a condom with my gf.. which i never hardly did after awhile.. pull out method has worked for me everytime. The smartest thing you could do is to have an implant put in your daughters arm those work very well. Best form of birth control, i know too cause not only have i read about it. I have came in my gf more than a few times and she never got pregnant. Lol great now im horny..

Over 80% of children born out of wedlock are born on Medicaid...the tax payers dime. That tells me that the majority of women having babies out of wedlock are from the lower class. These are the people who CANNOT afford to support a child, yet they often have more children than a responsible, married couple. Why? Because they don't have to worry about actually supporting their children! If my husband and I hadn't had to worry about feeding, housing, providing medical care, a good education and college funds for the 2 children we chose to have we would have had more. But being the responsible people that we are we stuck to 2. They are both in college now and they did not have to get student loans to fund their educations because we made the proper choices in life. When people make bad choices their children...and the tax payers...pay the price

it starts at home and this kids are taught nothing about life these days . I don't know nor understand why a parent would think it's the coolest thing their 14 - 15 year old has a baby ! More and more girls are getting pregnant at the age 14 - 15 years old . I think they should make the parent pay for their teen and support the grand child until the mother reach age to be on her own. If they made this law this might not happen to so many teens . Maybe the parents wouldn't think it's the coolest thing ever if they had to flip the bill ! This has me bothered as you can tell but my teen knows a few of these girls and I feel like when I send her to school I'm sending her in a cage of lions and as a parent I shouldn't be made to feel that way. I've done the talks I've taught her right from wrong and I can only pray for the best for her and for god to protect her. I can't preach to her every day on the same issue it's not fair to her ! I don't like the sick feeling I get when I take her to school .

We sent our children to private school just so they wouldn't have to deal with these issues. It was the best decision we ever made!! Do you know how many pregnant girls they went to school with? ZERO! Private schools have rules and they are enforced. If a girl was pregnant she would be kicked out. As far as I know their school has never needed to enforce that particular rule. Then again every child that has ever graduated from their school has gone on to college. Look in to private school for your daughter. If money is an issue most private schools offer scholarships and financial aid. She will get a far better education in a much safer environment.

Soooooo.......A live-in boyfriend who has a job, you are unmarried with a baby, receiving assitance for ALL medical bills food stamps etc,....... It is the tax payers business if you are receiving assistance. You state ....."have no control of yourkid and what he or she does on the weekds trust me on that!" You speak from experience. yes? Have you reported your live-in boyfriend's occupancy ( in your "own home") and wages to your case worker?

I think this sums it all up. They're just too stupid to understand that they can easily and readily get birth control. That goes for both genders; the women who are stupid enough to fall for "but baby I don't like the way a condom feels" and the men who are stupid enough to not use one. It just plain boils down to stupidity.

I am not saying she is perfect. As if I did not know any of this. It's old info. But just saying if you wanna spread someone's business. Know all the facts before posting on a publicly displayed website. If you wanna know something step to her. I heard she is in cville now. Should not be hard to find her. Although she and damon have been friends a long time. I'm sure he knows and has heard it all. So why is this your business anyway?

Shes been dating a long time friend of mine by the name of Quincy. Yes, i know shes had her problems. They both have. However, she told him he was the father of her baby aswell. I have also learned she has told her ex Ryan, Michael,Tyler, & a guy from Indy the same thing. Supposably shes been with all sorts of people. I just dont want to see Quincy get hurt. I want her to find out the truth about who the babys real father is and not just pin it on someone or change her mind months down the road over and over again like shes been doing is all.Just trying to help my friend!

I know who he is. Also he is big enough to file for a paternity test himself. Nobody needs to play Nancy Drew here. DNA will solve it all. So if he wants to be a part of that babys life he knows what to do. If that's the case let him do it. You may be his friend and that's nice. But don't go stirring some drama that does not need stirred. She just had the baby. It was also possible for him to do a DNA test while she was pregnant. So if he was again that concerned he could have done that. He hopped on her Facebook getting crappy. That is no way to resolve issues as a mature adult. Or even a potential parent who may share a child with the other. It looks to me that from what I've seen anyway. He is not taking the mature root on this. And the only way for anyone to get to the bottom of this is Q. So since you did not help make the baby I fail to see where you fit in. Be a friend for him to talk to. That's what friends are for.
