And the wife got "what time" out of these charges? All in exchange for a plea for something she participated in and was well aware of!!!!! I will never understand our justice system!

SO GLAD to see that these scumbags are paying a stiff price for their perversions. It is encouraging to hear that the children are making progress, I am sure they will require life-long therapy.

What a heinous crime. If that doesn't deserve the death penalty then nothing does. What crime must a person have to commit to be executed? Why would any society allow such an evil person live? Those poor kids had no means of defending themselves whatsoever. And the mother go what?

Just a little FYI--

There are NO restrictions on Pa Megan's Law Offenders UNLESS it is court ordered or is a local ordinance.

Are they allowed on school property? Yes.
Can they have full custody of their own children? Yes.
Can they live next to a play ground? Yes.

After their probationary period is over, they don't have to abide by any of the court ordered restrictions.

At least we don't have to worry about this guy but there are plenty more just like him out and about, never serving any jail time for their conviction.

Wifey needs to spend life behind bars as well. She as a mother is supposed to protect her children. Partners in crime, partners in time.

I don't even know what to say. These people aren't parents. When they stand before God and give an account, what will they say? God will not be mocked.

I am physically ill after reading this article. If a mother won't protect her own children, who will? Disgusting perversions, these innocent children didn't stand a chance. I hope ongoing and intensive therapy will help these children overcome. Lost a bit of faith in humanity today ... Sad :(

I can't think of 2 defendants more deserving of the death penalty! Exactly why did bleeding heart liberals oppose death sentences for swine like this? Hopefully Mr Gibbs will have plenty "attention" of his own in the big house, I hear child molesters are the lowest of the low even among the most violent inmates.

BOTH deserve the death penalty. I hope they get into the general population in prison.

Having read the criminal complaint, I am appalled that this woman served only 18 mos. I don't believe justice was served for her role in the corruption of these innocent children.

Tri Thanh Nguyen was found guilty on all those charges but was adjudicated.

F2 Agg. Ind. Assault - Comp. Less Than 13 Years Old
M1 Indecent Assault Person Less than 13 Years of Age
F1 Rape of Child
F2 Statutory Sexual Assault
F2 Sexual Assault Indecent Assault Person Less than 13 Years of Age
M1 Agg. Ind. Assault - Comp. Less Than 13 Years Old
F2 Agg. Ind. Assault - Comp. Less Than 13 Years Old
F2 Statutory Sexual Assault Guilty
F2 Sexual Assault Guilty
F1 Rape of Child

According to testimony of the two girls, now 9 and 13, the sexual abuse began when they were 3 or 4 years old and continued over the years until they were removed from Nguyen's home after their adoptive mother's death. The two girls AND 10 OTHER CHILDREN were removed from the home after Nguyen's wife died.

ADJUDICATION-- is a special form of judge-ordered community supervision (commonly known as "probation") that permits the defendant to accept responsibility for a crime without automatically suffering all of the consequences of a formal finding of guilty and sentence.

The judge literally defers a decision on the defendantís guilty, places the defendant on a period of supervision, and imposes certain contractual conditions designed to rehabilitate or punish the defendant and protect the public.

It's usually not served. Majority of people that charged with raping a child under 13 plead down to Indecent Assault and serve essentially no time.
My question is do you feel strongly enough, are you disgusted enough to join together and help change legislation?
Because like I have been told time and time again, Sex offenders have rights. They have no RESTRICTIONS in PA unless court ordered or if there are local ordinances.
The children will fall prey to these pedophiles unless we stand up and say no more!
DO you think a sex offender should be able to have custody of their child?
DO you think they should be allowed on school grounds, attend school functions?
Should they be able to live next to a playground and watch the children form their window, tempting them?

You know I just opened this article during my lunch break and believe me, it makes me sick... These fruitcakes should never be able to have children in the first place... I truly hope the children can recover to some normal life.

So how did Mrs. Gibbs get it so light? She should be spending just as much time behind bars. And is she spending anytime behind bars? What if she procreates again?

What other child's death was he responsible for? And why was he not in prison for that? This nasty skank of a mother needs to have her ass in jail too. How can anyone let their children go through all of this?
