Who needs to be told that? What is the matter with these neanderthals?! What is happening to American society that there are so many sub-humans everywhere you look. Tattooed idiots who've never seen a dentist and can bare speak at the Kindergarten level?! Something is very wrong with America, that's for sure.

It's unfortunate when people choose to live this way, but coming from someone who grew up in conneaut, it's not all that uncommon. I can't recall how many times i would see kids come to school in dirty clothes, and reeking like filth. It's about time the city put there foot down and did something about all the drug addicts who want to live like hobos.

3.

Speaking as someone who grew up in conditions similar to those found in these homes, I can tell you that it is not always drugs. Anxiety and depression are more often to blame.

yea it doesn’t say anything about drugs. Why do they have to be tattooed idiots? Why not just idiots? Face it people are stupid and a whole bunch of them are yucky. As long as the kids are safe and someone makes an attempt to tell them it's not OK to live like that....then OK!

Every time I read one of these stories, I always think it's going to be my former neighbors. After they were evicted it was discovered they were living in filth. They've probably moved on to another house to junk up.

This house is CLEAN compared to my sister-in-laws house on Glenna ave. In Grove City. Children services refuses to do anything about it!

Real simple their "Fed Up"...In case your from another planet or just pulled your head out of the sand...Here's the news flash...Everything has went through the roof, food, utilities, gas just to name some more common items people need to survive on...pay attention now...don't want you to miss this...the only thing that hasn't keep pace with the rise in the cost of living and inflation is WAGES! Companies can not afford raise's because the country is still in a deep recession and the gap between the have and the have nots grows daily. There are people in this country who three years ago would have consider themselves upper middle class and are now having to chose between food and prescription drugs. Guess which one wins out. Our Government wins either way! You don't know these people and if you do, I sure hope for their sake they tell you to take a long walk on a short peer!

You have to remember children services is full of narrow minded idiots. A few of them need their own children removed to be quite honest. Some of the workers being paid to "protect" children, live in just as filthy of living conditions as these people, some of them don't even have children and are barely adults themselves. You have the one or two out to change the world, but they are over shadowed by the many just out to show their authority. Then there are the foster parents that are sometimes just as filthy, if not worse, and as lazy as some of the parents that they were taken from, but of course the foster parents get a paycheck. There again, however, you do have your few foster homes that really do strive to provide a great home for the kids. It's a no win situation, except the caseworkers go home fooling themselves into believing they have done something good at the end of the day. Of course, at the end of the day, it is the children that have paid the price for all involved. God Bless The Children.

There are numerous people in hard times yes but you can be poor and CLEAN! There is no excuse for being filthy, none at all especially when children are involved. This has been going on for years and will continue to do so. When parents raise their children in this type of enviorment those children do the same with their childen.

So, let's neglect our children and subject them to a filthy, bug infested home? Sounds like a great plan. How about teaching them to change and improve their enviroment? Or making a change in the local government? Or educating themselves?

Why does everything fall back on the government being responsible for these kind of people? You have the children, it is your responsibility to raise them, not someone else or the government giving you the money to blow on more important things like cigarettes and tatoo's.
