and you "own" a State Farm insurance agency, you will be endorsed by the Illuminating Company, the State of Ohio, Ashtabula City, and Saybrook and Ashtabula Townships who all are prominently and proudly displaying his business signs on their property. Desperate and underhanded ... always an attractive combination.

What is desperate and underhanded exactly? Maybe they use his company and like the man. Judge people by who and what they have accomplished not what one relative has done to a family name. That history will always be there and guess what, in Trashtabula it does not mean a hill of beans. The REAL dirty ones are still in power and nothing has ever changed here in 30 or so years and NEVER will. The only thing to do is move. Trust me I know what tree your barking up and I myself had been victimized by the slimeballs of Trashtabula. The other thing is you have to be barking up the right side of the tree and you are upset over a cousin to the one I think you are finding fault with. Yet it is not just that man and never was. The real dirt has ALWAYS been here and still runs this area to this day with no repercussions for their actions. One of the SOB trustees was even back in the day suspected of murdering his first wife and that was swept away as usual. That man has lined his pockets with State and Local money forever. WHY and HOW ? It is all political. Goes way to the top. Simply move out of Ohio.

Why would I leave Ohio? I simply think it's wrong to place business signs on public property, much of it city and state-owned, thus making it taxpayer-funded. I don't have a problem with anyone's cousin. My problem is paying electric bills to maintain light poles so he has a surface in which to drive a nail. These signs should be removed, and cost of doing so should be passed on to him.

Oh, I see now, You are simply upset over the placement of the advertising. A few people I mentioned this too are laughing. This area is a joke. If someone puts up a yard sale poster the people get in trouble for that, I should not of jumped to the conclusion you were upset over some one he has in his family tree. We all have someone we would rather not discuss if we looked at our own family tree's I'm sure there would be someone that we would not be too proud of.
This area tends too look the other way on certain things or people. Not a lot of people really give much thought too anything. If you do you will get problems. Most of us have learned and others get sick of the place and leave.

Yes, I should have stated my original post as you did in the first line of your response. Why are others laughing at my indignation? Why do people "have problems" if they question what's staring them in red and white right in the face? Utility poles are for that only (utilities) and nothing more. Why make an exception for one person? He doesn't have any power in this town. So, why are city, state, and local utilities giving him a pass? Anyway, anyone up for a midnight sign removal caper?

I say go for it! What really needs cleaned up is the Ashtabula court system ----the whole thing stinks, the judges rule on who has TOLD him to let off because their friend or relative knows him and is friends with the judge. I wish the judges would be required to listen to both sides and actually read all reports and documents involved. In the matters where kids are involved during divorces the judges should HAVE to talk to the kids PRIVATELY before making a decision, common sense should play some factor in it. Who has the most money or connections seems to win whether they are right or wrong. Is there a judge in the county who is actually a judge because he truly wants to serve the people and do what is right? I think NOT! Money and "look at me" seems to figure in to it---sad days for the people living in the county and trying to do the right thing.

If you get caught you would be arrested for trespassing and irritating a public officials relative. lol.
Seriously I would not waste my time. The people who do business with him would only be charged more because he would have to figure in more for advertising. He probably did not put those things on the poles. He might of paid someone to stick them around town and they did not know any better and put them where ever they could so they could get paid for doing it. Lots of people go in there and some are bums looking for a handout or food. Maybe he gave them a little chore to do. The CEI crews clean posters and things like that off the poles every now and then. If you take them down those nasty weight loss posters will be put back up there. Those were fugly.
My family has been very badly wronged by two Judges in this area. I know for a fact two of them are TRASH and not a day goes by I don't wish them a slow dying death of cancer or aids. Of course that one the wish is probably true because I'm sure all he does in his chamber in nosh on slong.

Think I will at least turn in a large report to the Attorney Generals office and see if he will look in to it. DeWine seems to be fighting the drug dealers and pill mills of Ohio so who knows might get lucky on this too.

What a waste of time. Unless you think some cops need a good sleeping detail. Really I think some assignments are just that. That is too messed up to think the State would waste money paying people to try to catch a guy putting up little advertisements on poles. Not to mention he probably did not do it. I would have to see a picture to believe he is the culprit. For one thing look how tall he is. If he did it the things would be up real high so nobody could rip them down. The other thing is his shoes are code. Yea, a stakeout costing a mill will need to be put together.
Why they are at it maybe they could go a bit further down the road and clean up the trash that is dealing out of that (gag, gag, vomit, supposed restaurant) with the seventh grade dropout that is flaunting huge cash from here to exotic ports of call.
Even the food is being paid for by people on food stamp cards that are making cash deals. Now that is something to bitch about. Not the guy trying to earn a living and make a legitimate place of business in Trashtabula.

I am sorry you MISUNDERSTOOD, I could care less about the signs on poles. I meant the judical system in Ashtabula is corrupt and alot of underhanded things happen, needs to be looked into. The judges, at least one in particular, along with other officials, are "crooked". Read the couple of posts about court system/judges on here.

No did not misunderstand. Combined two posts. You don't have to tell me how crooked the area is. My family has truly suffered here.
