Yes, it's a train's engine that runs on steam. And I agree, he or she needs to stop posting "crap" like nice pictures of things and places in Connneaut. We won't stand for posts like that! Seek professional help.

Go back to school. Learn how to write. Learn how to read. Go to a library and look up "steam engine" in an encyclopedia. Be ashamed of how little you know and how rude you are. Do something positive to correct both.

OK. If you really want to know, Marliens it's a steam locomotive, as opposed to a stationary steam engine. But you're still a Bozo.

Some years ago(10 maybe)my Wife & I came from London, England to visit my Sister in Cleveland(resident since 1967)& we all visited the museum @ Conneaut & found the whole place enchanting, the big Berkshire Loco & the Caboose were, for me, a magic dream & in the Station "shop" there was a charming senior lady who I would say epitomized American wholesomeness & goodness, all in all I shall remember that visit on that day as a lovely experience which refired my interest in American railroading & locomotives.

Having grown up around Steam Locomotives in Albion, Pa, it's always a pleasure to these giants of our railroad history.

A wonderful post! This great museum is typical of the great things in Ohio that most take for granted. It also epitomizes the horrible job this state has done promoting such wonders. When Ohio boomed in the industrial revolution, great things and places just happened as a matter of development. Modern day politicians have been coasting on this ever since. Time to start promoting Ohio's treasures, such as Ashtabula county having more covered bridges than any county in the U.S. And Conneaut is a wonderful town.
