There will be a consideable loss to Conneaut Lake. The Park is a Historical Landmark and once it is gone it is gone forever. Again it is too bad the greed of a few outways the enjoyment and memories of so so many people. Many lakes in Pennsylvania, Ohio and surrounding areas have been all but closed to local residents because of Glutonary Greed of selfish people. In the end financially it is a loss to all who acutally have lived there lives in the area. Many amusement parks and recreational faciclities end up closed ,acess to a community oowned lake is gone and the selfish self centered few reap the benifits as others have this opputunity taken away. Look at the bailout! you work hard to pay for the yuppie having a four hundred thousand weekend getaway!

I agree John. I was sick when I read that article of the CEO'S spending the money to bail out the insurance company on a weekend retreat in the upwards of 400,000. Ya you are right they will take because there takers and could care less about people it all them,,,selfish people . There uncaring people. Conneaut Lake is onther notch for them to destroy! Maybe though the Bidder has good intentions,,we will all have to pray.
