Dust Bowl

I know that this years drought does not compare to the dust bowl years during the Great Depression, but did anyone see the pictures on the weather channel website of the dust storm in Phoenix? Plus they say that food prices will go up because of the drought.

been tracking the drought for about 2 months now .its much worse than they let on.all the food prices will be higher.corn in the no 1 major crop in the world followed by wheat.with corn you no the products are made from it .then the pigs are fed corn and cows. so the farmers already are selling them off .they going sky rocket .then the chickens eat corn. they going higher.so we haven't seen nothing yet .then the wheat .flour and all the things from it .cakes pies all things from flour be much higher then oils corn oil ,then peanuts are hit had as corn .there goes oil and all the things they used for.so get ready for big high grocery prices.and the drought is not over yet.look at the wild fires out west .its burning down. and watch for water shortages.

I expect higher food prices, plus they will raise the price of things not even related to the drought just to raise them. Have you ever seen video footage of the old dust bowl storms? It is unbelievable.

Ok, it was global cooling in the 70's. Now its global warming. Bull$hit! So what if the west is burning down! How does that come from global warming? Do you think droughts are something new?? Look at the title of this thread "dust bowl". It was a living hell back then compared to right now. You have no sense of history. You see a record high in memphis and use it to support your global warming theory. The fact is, there are record highs set every year. Even 100 years ago there were record highs recorded in some cities that still have not been matched.

its over 200 now nasa has reported that the artic ice cap is melting 12% each day.and Greenland is melting at record pace its alarming. the polar ice cap is melting at alarming rates n.r.d.c.and nasa they cant measure it by the day its more each day .the sea ice is melting at record paces .now the worst part is coming when the sea water covers all coastal lands and Fla. and most of the coastal lands dissapear under water.you can google and read all about it just google global warming ice caps melt .you see.

I didn't think you could back that lie up. No ice cap is melting at 200 ft per day. Yes icland may be melting, but that's what happens when the earth is in a thaw period from the last ice age. You see, the earth goes through an ice age about every 10,000 years. Did you think it all melted at once? Now can you explain to me why the glaciers in the Himalayan mountains are actually growing? Yes I said growing. How do you explain that with all the global warming going on? Can you explain to me why the glaciers in the Karakorum mountains are growing? Can you explain to me why the southern ice cap is in fact growing? I could go on and on. My advice to you is stop watching too much cnn and try doing a little research for yourself for a change instead of just repeating what you heard Lord Gore said. Oh, and I'm no math wiz, but I would say if the northern ice cap was melting at 12% a day, it wouldn't be around for very long at all now would it.
