Judged: 2 2 1 B/c the "N" word, is AA word. If we had a shirt on that said Honkey, that wouldn't be offensive, but if you wear a shirt, that has so many bad memories attached to it, that is just ignorant and horrible. |
SO your saying its okay to insult white, but not black? double standards? i not in favor of any insulting words at all, but i tired of the double standards |

yes, it is ok for a rapper to wear a shirt with the "N" word. it is not a double standard. that is of course if the rapper is black. now, a white, southern boy wearing a kkk shirt, is promoting violence and white supremacy. this would also be true if a white person wore a shirt with the "N" word. now, if there were a shirt in question that used the word honkey or cracker, it might make some angry, but it just does not have the history of oppression, violence and hatred that the kkk, and the "N" word have. it is just not the same. it is like comparing apples and oranges, there is no common ground except that they are both fruit. |

It is not okay for a rapper to wear a shirt with the N word. This is a child in middle school and as you know we have always had double standards. |

Are you kidding me how is this insulting white people , a black person did not wear a shirt that said honkey. If you are tired of the double standards then read your history because the white people wrote it.I live in South Carolina my husband just returned from Iraq,I deal with the double standards daily and my daughter attends Clemson University and she deals with it also. Is it okay ? No!!!!! We need to teach our children at an early age that it is not okay to dislike people because of the color of a persons skin.South Carolina is our home and I talked my husband into moving back after we returned from Germany and my daughter got excepted to clemson .I regret it so much. I have meet some really nice people in Simpsonville but it only takes one person to make it bad for a group of people.Being a closed mined person you miss out on so much. This is a child that wore a kkk t-shirt to school for what ???????? |
|
Jmac I am so glad you do not live in South Carolina you are that one person.Sad |
|
Petey I think that a lot of peole feel the same way you do,I know I agree with you I am really concerned about our children .some people just want let this ignorance die.How Sad for our children. |

Let's not miss the point here. The student wanted to cause a disruption in school and did. Racism aside this is a question of discipline and order. When this student deosn't get the negative attention they want from their Klannery they'll start setting fires or pissing in the class room.
I worked wit kids for years in non-profits and know exactly what kind of kid this is. Bad with parents who won't "take him to the woodshed" where he belongs. All this talk about double standards is just a distraction from the fact this hellion needs to be taught how to act civilized before he becomes an adult and ends up in jail. |

I love it!!!!!! this is so true. |
