Child, Dropped Off At School, Hit By Mother

A child was seriously injured Wednesday when he ran in front of his mother's car after he was dropped off at school, South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers said.

how old was the child and why didn't the mother make sure it was in a safe area before she started to drive off.

thats a scary thing thats why i always tell my daughter not to run towards a car or get behind one ,i always watch my daughter get off school bus too because you hear things about kids dropping books and the bus driver don't know your still there and a kid gets ran over...
