I really am tired of hearing about all the people dieing in car accidents. It really makes me paranoid to be on the roads these days. My prayers and sympathy are out there for all of the families going through these losses. I guess I need to just quit looking at the news to get away from hearing about these things EVERY DAY. Guess this was just vent.

These were beautiful children who were loved by both family and friends. We are devastated here in their hometown. We are praying for all involved and want them to know we love them very much.

Also stay off the cell phones. There have been more accidents recently of people running off the road,or running off the road and over correcting and the cars end up flipping. Just have a feeling the attention was being paid to the cell phone and not the driving

Our prayers go out to this family as well. We are friends of the family here in concord. Let's not assume or "have a feeling" that the driver WAS on a cell phone...Perhaps she simply just ran off the shoulder as we ALL have done at some point...

God's peace to the Cress family.

The article didn't say anything about seatbelts...if these kids were in their seatbelts then that scares me worse than had they not been wearing them.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends in this very difficult time.

What a trajic loss for the Concord community. The Cress family is a very respected family in our town and these were great people who didn't get to start high school or play any baseball again. Hundreds of thousands of people know this family and will truly be praying for you. Don't be too quick to judge unless you know all the facts. Just pray that they didn't suffer. I am praying for you and your family.

The community in Mount Pleasant and Concord are devastated by the loss of the Cress children. We grieve for them and pray for the parents and grandparents. I hope Linda, their mother pulls through ok.
These kids were great kids and superb athletes. My daughter has played ball with Tiffany for many years and they were all looking forward to starting high school ball this fall.
I cannot imagine what it must be like for their family to lose them so suddenly. Regardless of how it happened, pray for the family and cherish every moment with your own children.

We were at the scene when this tragedy occured. I didn't know the family, but my heart goes out to them. The mother who couldn't get to her children (she was trapped in the car) must be devastated and the grandma (I don't know her condition, but she was unconscious at the scene-is she okay?) must feel horrible. I pray that everyone close to them showers them with support and love because they will need it. May God be with them all.

May the Cress family and everyone involved or close to the lives of the family be blessed and watched over during this time. For all the lives lost on SC Highways over the past six months, it's a terrible shame. I'd just like to see the final accident reports to clarify what really happens after an accident involving death. Helps to educate rather than bashing and unknown made assumptions and reasoning. God be with all of you.

I understand that the grandmother passed away sometime this evening. Again, continue to lift this entire family in prayers.
