13-Year-Old Boy In Critical Condition After Being Struck By Car In South County

I knew Brendan and he was the nicest kid that you would ever meet!!!He had no enimys,only friends.He will be very missed at HANCOCK MIDDLE SCHOOL.Brendan died Sunday Jan. 14.He was struck by a car Friday Jan. 11 at 5:30 pm.He went to cross the street on his skateboard.The car swerved to try to stop but it was to late!Brendan was stuck.He was on life support to stay alive.His parents toke him off and 10 min. later he died.Brendan will be very missed at HANCOCK MIDDLE SCHOOL.PLEASE PRAY for Brendan,his family,his friends,and Kaitlin his girlfriend.We are all grieving.Brendan will bemissed by everyone.We love and miss you BRENDAN JOESPH WILES.We will never forget you.You're one in a million.In Brendan's honor please be safe.Don't go in the streets and always wear a helmet.We love and miss you BRENDAN:(

I've known Brendan Wiles scince kindergarten and we were best friends. i hope i can go to his funeral. i moved away in 5th grade and i haven't talked to him scince the last day of 5th grade. he didn't deserve to die. he was the most sweetest and most kindest boy you could have ever meet. Hi, my daughter attends Hancock High School, but knew Brendan very well. He taught her how to skateboard last summer when she was hanging out with Levi and all of them. I am so sad about the loss of such a wonderful part of the community. He will be missed by many!

Brendan Josehp Wiles, He was a amazing person.
There's so much to say.
I can't really explain it that well.
But we used to talk on the phone for hours at a time, and told eachother everything.
We had many memories and inside jokes.
He was my Best Friend and he still is.
He was my everything, and he always will be.
He was the only person I looked up to, and got up everyday to see.
He was the only person who really understoud me.
But he was trustworthy, loving, sweet, knew how to brighten a day, And just everything good in the world.
He will be loved and missed for the rest of our lives, and no body will forget him.
He could put a smile on anyones face no matter what mood he was in, and he knew everything about them just by hearing there voice.
When I was down and depressed, I always called him, and he talked to me and the word "hi" Made me absolutely better.
I really did love him, more then anything actually.
And I swear on his life about that.
I mean, yeah, I know things are going to be hard without him now, but I know I'll see him some day again.
And I'm counting every minute until that day comes.

ok, Brendan was NOT on his skateboard! He was crossing the street like any other person would. ON THEIR FEET!! He was listening to his ipod so he didn't hear the car. When he saw it, it was too late. The song, by the way, is called Fake It. Go on to MySpace and look it up there if you want to hear it. Brendan Wiles will always be loved and missed by everyone. Especially at Hancock School District(my school). May he rest in peace!
