Kudos to you for this quote...too funny...a nice bike path that takes you from one refinery to the next. Can't wait to get out and take a deep breath of that fresh sulfurous air.

Could have made it a shoulder extension for the purpose of dust and debris collection. Then Caltrans could hire a busload of people at $35 per hour to clean the dust and debris up. I guess your right, our money would be much better spent that way, job creation, maybe we can get our hands on some more of that Obama funny money to pay for them.

Now, If BENICIA was actually thinking, they would realize that opening a path from Hillcrest, would open the Bridge to 90% of people, that wont ride the extra 4ish miles up/down hills.

The BPD has been utilizing it's motorcycles to patrol the addition, since well before it was even opened.
So we now have a viable reason for the motorcycles, they can patrol the bridge - making sure that no motorized vehicles are using the new pathway - EXCEPT THE BPD!!!!!

They can also hide, and write "no headlight" tickets to out of towners, as they enter the city limits.(since Benicia is the only city that enforces that law -(((ever see a headlight on a bike in Davis????))))

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Libra

Happy New Year, Libra!. How's that poor old body feeling this morning?! If you're having a gathering, include casual acquaintances or newcomers as if they were one of the family. You're a real social animal and you know how to put people at their ease. This is a wonderful talent: not only do you have a network of friends and social contacts, as well as business ones, but you have the ability to bring others together. Perhaps you should start a dating agency this year!
