I am sure that somebody with the state of oklahoma could do something about the smell that covers our town, and it is not just the smell but the attack on everybody's sinus causing flu like symtoms created by the mold spores floating through the air from the mushroom plant. The state needs to come in and fine them just like what happend in missouri.People should not haft to put up with this crap. I have lived here for 37 years and the smell keeps getting worse. The city of miami has not done anything about it, huh i wonder why , must be somebody getting their pocket filled daily, maybe now that we have a new city manager not from around here he can get something done about it. Its no wonder why people looking to expand or start up a buisness in miami run back from where they came from as soon as they get out of their cars and say what is that awfull smell and the answer they get is oh that is the mushroom plant it smells like that all over town. Now who would want to come to turdville and smell that.Hey here is an idea maybe the new city councilman joe sharbut would do something about the smell, NOT he works for J and M farms.Oh and another thing you really have to love all of the mexicans and microneisan that the mushroom plant has brought to our area along with all the drugs and thefts it brought with it.NOT EVERY BODY CAN BE BOUGHT OFF .

I visit miami 1 time per week for business. The smell here today is so bad it is making me sick. I wish I would not ever have to come up here and work. Why don't they do something about this? I would never move here.

It is strange that I have never had a sinus infection in my life until moving here. Now I get 6 to 10 a year, yes...6 to 10! Miami doctors say its "allergy related", and "due to high pollen counts". I had to go out of town (Tulsa) to an allergy specilist (ENT) and she told me, very specifically, that they are being caused by AIRBORNE FUNGAL ALLERGENS!!! I wonder where they come from?

wow what a bunch of complainers , have you ever heard of Zurtech , I was in Miami the other day and didn't smell anything except for the oil burner that passed . my point is this a company provides jobs people complain ,no jobs people complain, so basically it doesn't matter what anyone does people complain . so blow your nose and be thankful that Miami is completely dead yet .

wow i live a half a mile from j m farms. ive had pnemonia three times this year from something that started with a spore allergy. I had to be put back on an inhaler last month. I had not had an asthma attack since high school 13 years ago. My three year old has a constant night time cough. We;ve taken every medecine possible but when your inhaling that much on a daily basis nothing helps. its sad sad and it costs me a lot of money between pharmacy costs, over the counter meds, doctor visits, my daughter having to ge her tonsils out and sick days between the two of us I really cant afford to not complain.

Hey sportsman, lets be a little more racist towards people who are willing to work for a paycheck instead of sucking the life out of our country thru Medicaid and unemployment. And I promise you it's not the "Mexicans and Micronesians" pumping the meth into the area... That's good ole gringos!! And I have been in Los Angeles and seen j&m mushrooms at a supermarket, so it's a pretty widespread business... After Goodrich shut down this town is barely clinging to life, so do u really want to decapitate this town?? That is one of the few things besides casinos still bringing revenue and hence taxes to redo the side streets and the new Main Street... So go ahead and wish for the death of our already POS town... Think b4 u blog ignoramus...

How dare you put in Micronesians and Mexicans as a complaint with the mushroom plant. Many immigrants from all types of country come to America to work, YOUR fore-fathers wanted that for all who wanted to come to the United States. All human beings steal and every race does some type of drug. You cannot say you have never stole anything in your life or tried a type of drug because that would be a lie. You have a point about the stench of the farm, so get out into the community and do something about it rather spend your time bad mouthing people and corporations online. Thanks :)

The farm stinks. Yes it does bring jobs to the area. I just wish the smell wasn't so bad.
