"need", yeah right. Let me tell you about my ocean front property in Arizona I have to sell too!

The only "need" is that of cash from the stuid american people, who think that anyone with a white lab coat on is a god, and would never, EVER, do anything to harm them!

Have your doctor check your vitamin D levels. Insist on it. If they are lower than 40ng, you need a supplement stronger than the 800 units per day you may be getting from your calcium supplements. My T-scores turned around and my bones have started remodeling WITHOUT the use of these osteo drugs. It's much, much cheaper and has fewer side effects.

OMG! A dr. prescrive a simple vitamin. Say it isn't so!?!?!
Sadly most drs. won't do that. They are taught that the "right and customary" test is bone density and the "R&C" treatment is bisphosinates..PERIOD!!
It is sad how our drs. can no longer think for themselves...they are parrots for Big Pharma pitchmen.
We must educate ourselves as to avoid becoming another damaged patient.
Sad when the "cure" is worse then the "disease".

Osteoporosis remains to be a major health problem and as for now, there is no medicine able to cure this disease. Moreover, treatment for this disease is very costly in terms of adverse effects making the treatment really agonizing.

Indeed, osteoporosis is becoming a major health concern in older men and women. While bone drugs such as Fosamax are available to aid them, the risk of adverse effects is also part of the package. Suffering from the disease, and enduring the side effects of the drug may be daunting especially for the elderly. Related information at http://www.fosamax-lawsuit.net may be of great help to those who are concerned and interested.

This is good news. Just an additional information: Osteoarthritis of the hip is brought by deterioration of articular cartilage and wear-and-tear of the hip joint, experts say. Included in the list of its causes are genetics; previous hip injury; previous fracture which alters hip alignment; congenital and developmental hip disease; and subchondral bone that is either be too soft or too hard. This is an interesting look into how the industry still supports Fosamax and bisphosphonates. Read more about Fosamax side-effects here: http://www.fosamaxclassactionlawsuit.com

Osteoporosis has been an increasing health problem among the elderly, especially postmenopausal women. Though there are available treatments, side effects may also be incurred as medications are known to carry less favorable effects. However, bone drugs have been associated with a growing number of adverse events reports lately. In fact, Fosamax drug maker Merck, has reportedly been faced of a series of legal claims from patients who encountered these adverse effects. An article that I've read from http://www.fosamaxfemurfracturelawsuit.com goes into detail in some of the adverse effects linked to the bone drug.

Truly, osteoporosis affects millions of older adults. It usually strikes after age 60. ItÂ’s most common in post-menopausal women, but men can get it too. Actually, the United States Preventive Services Task Force advises routine bone density testing for women age 65 and older. Bone problems usually lead to other body pains too, such as hip pains. Hip pain is common problem, and it can be confusing because there are many causes. It is important to make an accurate diagnosis of the cause of your symptoms so that appropriate treatment can be directed at the underlying problem. See http://www.depuysettlements.com

Whenever I hear or learn about a certain disease, I am just grateful that I don't have the problem. It would be so hard that even moving would hurt your bones. My family already has weak bones so this would be so bad for us to have. http://www.lynchburggynecology.com
