Arrest made after the death of Adams County teen

A suspect is in custody for the death of an Adams County teen Monday morning. At 6 a.m. the Adams County Sheriff's Office responded to a call for medical assistance at the Crestline Hotel in the 7300 block of highway 85 north of Commerce City.

My oldest daughters boyfriend accidentally hit her a year ago..... He was layed up for quite awhile, along with his buddy who had his jaw wired shut, fortunately only one of my boys did a week or two in the can. I haven't bumped into old boy yet... If it was an accident then why didn't he get help for her. If you love some you don't hit them. Love dosen't hurt. He left her in a car in a parking lot like she was nothing someone else who didn't know her had to call for help. Now he has to live with the fact that he killed her and her family never gets to see her ever again or even get the chance to say good bye. Your family still gets to see him and that is not fair.

PAUL OLDER BROTHER - When you love someone, you don't hit them, period! He hit her. According to these posts, they were arguing and he hit her. Sounds like she died as a result of being hit. That is 2nd Degree Murder in this state. He might have gotten away with Manslaughter, but leaving her like that without seeking medical help probably removed that option from the table. He is going to prison and he does deserve that!

oh man.... I really had higher hopes for these kids. My heart and prayers go out to the ones who took care of these children. Statistically, something else tragic was bound to happen. But when you pour your heart into troubled children, you can only hope you planted the right seeds and ripped out the stinky fucked up old rotten roots. I know Joe loved her, but that is no excuse! Violence is never an accident, rather a choice! She was a beautiful girl with a loving heart who was exposed to violence her entire life. I hoped and prayed for these children everyday. I did what I could to show her love and happiness for a short time in her life and right now it is of little consolation to me or my family. This was truly an accident. No sibling would intentally hurt their brother or sister. These kids have had a hard life and don't deserve what has happened. My niece was sick and had azma and had an azma attack. She had a bad cold, whick could have brought the attack on.
You people need to get the facts straight before you judge. God died on the cross for us and everyone is forgiven for their sins. God knows what happened and when the facts are out then you can voice your opinion.

They were both fighting with each other. It was just not one person it was both. There is no excuse for hitting, but sometimes it happens. He is not a murderer and God will see that.
