Board Ford scumbags wrote: Um, have you looked up Board Ford on bbb.org , the Better Business Bureau website? "F" folks, the worst grade there is. These guys were scumbags, and if you bought from them, you bought from scumbags. Hey, maybe they happened to give you some good service, but they were scumbags. Good riddance, and sorry to the customers who got screwed. I'm glad they are gone!!!!! Serves them right. And I proudly contributed to their downfall. I complained to the BBB and gave them a very poor rating. I also complained to the Chamber of Commerce and they were WORTHLESS. Because of that I will never spend any money in Whittier. I finally complained to my credit card company, they stood behind me, and credited my card for the scam they tried to pull on me. Goodbye forever!

Mr Dixon and the Board Ford Waste 97-98. I worked in the body shop as an estimator. I could not beleive how much Board Ford was charging for mechancial labor, we were even higher than the Cadillac Dealer right next door. No wonder people left and went to other places. I also remember how he tried to expand and make the new Board Ford. It looked ok. I just could not believe how he spent so much money making a custom vehicle called a "Fordillac". It was a Cadillac Seville 1978? In Candy Apple Red with a huge modified Ford V8. Everything was chrome. All this money he spent trying to be "ghetto fabulous" Mr. Dixon was a pioneering businessman. I guess that no matter what, the dealerships on Whittier blvd are doomed by the automalls and the cutthroat competition. I didn't know the dealership went away in early 2008.

Jerry wrote: I purchased GAP thru Board Ford back in 03. The companies name on the contract is ALEXICO CORPORATION. This company is out of Overland Park, Kansas. Well to make a long story short I am currently stationed here in Kansas and I was a catostophic car wreck and started the claim process. Turns out there is no ALEXICO CORPORATION. I drove to the address on the contract which is about 2 hours away, its not there, I called the Kansas Attorney Gernals office and they said they have been getting calls for this place for years. I just found out from my mother in law that Board Ford closed. When I contacted the BBB in California and the California Department of Insurance I was told to call the other place. Any one have Ideas? hard to beleive after all this time people are still talking about us closing. alexico was a gap company that we used for many years. i do not know if they are still in business. you can try calling ford customer service line due to fact that when we closed the dealership we were not owned by ray dixon we were owned by ford motor company.

So when Ford Motor Company denies ever having any relationship with the Alexico Corporation what next? Currently in Afganistan so I have a feeling im just plain screwed.

I am elated this dealership has gone under! Because of this dealership I will NEVER, EVER buy Ford! I hope no one else does either. Who can support a dealership who sells, of all cars, a Ford Mustang GT to an 85 year old grandmother who can barely walk and talk. Let alone sign her name on a F'n contract. These people were gutless, ruthless to say the least! When trying to return the vehicle they laughed and called the cops! What does that say about who these people are or were about! Keep in mind, the car was never driven and the attempt to return the car was next day. I had to call the bank to have the car repoed.

Huh, sounds like they got the last laugh, your grandma got smoked and you have a repo situation now.
