Remembering March
|
Can anyone remember a March Saturday in Commack?
Laptops are stolen everyday. Whats the big deal. What were on the laptops? It must be important to warrant this coverage in July. Maybe Newsday can tell us, maybe not.
Must be a not too smart computer company because they did not encrypt their data.

99% of Newsday stories have descriptions of suspects as "man, between the ages of 20-40, red shirt...last seen running". So why is it this white guy not only described so well, but such a good picture of him? Remember the soldier who's Jeep was stolen? Reverse discrimination at it's finest. El Blanche Diablo signing off.

How are two laptops valued at 1500$ worth up to 5000$ for info in their recovery? Why not just go buy two new computers, the stolen ones are obsolete already.. Come on people

I remember calling the news desk a few years ago after reading a story on a bank robbery in Farmingdale. I had been near the bank when the robbery occured. The story described the robbers as "2 males both of whom were not white". I asked to speak to the writer-some guy named Lam- and asked him how I would be able to identify these guys from his sterling description. I got a snooty reply and a click as he hung up the phone. Newsday is a poor example of a daily paper. It is no wonder that the print business is going down hill fast.

So, this guy is just a suspected witness, not a suspect?

It looks like he's carrying a Barbie Lunch box. Seriously though. It's safe to say that those laptops have some serious info on them. Also where's the front door surveillance video. Looks like they spent thousands on a hall way camera? What about the front door? You can never spend to much on Security.

Man, do the police really think they're fooling anyone with the 'witness' bs? This guy is the prime suspect.

"...March 10, clean-shaven...short hair...white sneakers..."
This guy could look like Charles Manson carrying a lunch box by now.

Drop this case already, he looks like a nice clean cut kid. If I knew who he was I would not tell you, and know that I know you keep laptops laying around like fools maybe I will stop by for a free bee too!

Here is an idea - Give the readers the option to make the pictures larger so we can actually see the person!!

The story in this is the story being printed in the first place. What got these lazy bums off their arses and put it in the paper? I have heard so many horror stories where they won't take a case that I really have to wonder - why this one?

They have a video of the subject/suspect. He was wearing a blue jumpsuit with orange and gold patches on the shoulders. he was last seen leaving the scene of the crime in a late model white crown victoria with red and blue decals on the sides and a light bar on the roof. Pin the crime on the witness.

I guess only white subjects wanted in connection to a crime, who are caught on tape, are published in this rag.
