It is amazing how many people on here like to blame the education system- teachers, administrators, school board, etc. for everything that goes wrong with their child. Do we not also have a responsibility for our child's actions and behavior? How easy it is to get on here and anonymously bash other human beings and blame them for our problems without realizing they also have loved
ones that may be hurt by your words.

We parents have a huge responsibility for our children and their actions. That is why some of us still sit down and talk to our kids about drugs, drinking, dating, college, respecting elders and teachers. I cried when I heard certain educators were resigning because they are good people and educators. I cried when I heard a girl on Varsity Softball is getting cut because of rumors others started, unless the wrong name was dropped that team is losing a loyal player with good morals and an amazing family. I can only imagine the pain and shame it will cause the child and family. Again ,I hope the wrong name was given because this kids family has been through hell on earth but still love and believe in FHS.
EVERY SCHOOL has its faults. We have had some trying times but us people with decent beliefs our children with good morals prevail. I too don't believe in any type ( student or teacher) bullying. But what annoys me the most is when parents send their children to school with no respect and then complain when their child gets in trouble. I have learned something from sports and other areas in school . Parents and students will lie to get competition out of the way. People will lie when they feel slighted .Parents with true concerns are scared to follow up ,these happen to be people of integrity. People who don't care about others have no problem punishing the innocent. We have seen all of this in the last few weeks . I am just sorry it effected innocent people and others feel the need to cause problem to get students and teachers in trouble based on lies.

I have a simple question . Why are we blaming our educators and law enforcement for things that are happening at home ? We are responsible for their actions once we gave birth . To blame people who don't go home with them seems like a little denial. I was shocked to see Coach Moffet and Officer Ayala get blamed for students behavior. Ayala only knows what he is told and is a good educator. Coach Moffet can not drug test every athlete. Parents would be miffed about that.
I know when there is a tragedy we look to blame others, often the wrong people . But we need to look at ourselves . What are we doing ?
