Why isn't the police being held responsible?? THEY knew about it, the abuse was reported!!

Yeah. And why do they only prosecute criminals who commit crimes against the "right"/aka rich people??? Why did they let Sherry Harris's boyfriend leave town after Julie Harris's body was found and he was the #1 suspect? And why didn't they prosecute the pig(s) who murdered Jessie McElfish by clubbing him in the head and leaving him face down in Mill Creek to drown?? Old stories, I know, but the questions still go unanswered..
