Sure some great resources to check out are the norml website, also mpp.org ,I google marijuana each day to keep up on news, just recently I saw a story where overseas apparently some scientists have been able to hinder the growth of certain cancer cells using THC in a test tube. For a less biased example you could check out a book from the Institute of Medicine and national adademic press called Marijuana and Medicine Assessing the Science Base, I like this one because it shows alot of the challenges in such a study, like half of the dumbass test subjects tested positive for other substances, kinda hard to conduct a serious study under those conditions if you ask me, but also it points out that government restrictions have made it much more diffacult, plus the attitude of closed minded politicans who bury reports and undermine reasarch. There is a movie I recomend called In Pot We Trust, made for the Showtime network dealing with medical marijuana. Let me ask the true question, who in your own family has a problem with drugs, has lost control of reason, and just can't seem to get it together, statisticly there is at least one in every family today in this country, and what if they learned what I know, A way out of the fog so to speak. I'm living proof that it is possible, and guess what I'm not super smart, kinda chubby, and yes that is a side effect, but I have been able to accomplish so much and it has directly to do with the progression of life in my last 11 years.

Gee, you are a real genious. Smell like bacon too. You'd be out of a job if pot was legal.
Most all of these posts came from people like myself who enjoy the recreational use of cannabis. What is wrong with standing up for our rights???
Some people like to come home from work and drink alcohol to relieve stress while some of us enjoy marijuana. Why should a plant be illegal?
The government has been wrong before. Did we not learn anything from prohibition? It's time for a change.
Legalize it!
Free the weed, and loose the attitude that cannibas is a bad thing. It is a wonderful weed, and we should utilize it for many things; I am almost fifty years old, female, and I can't believe weed is illegal.

BTW, Does anybody REALLY know a GOOD atty. for this situation? Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all!
Hi Mr Aiken, My recomendations for attys include Roy Neil in Hendersonville, and If you choose to go to Asheville to search I recommend Sean Devereux, Mr Devereux was the one that took care of Eric Ruldolphs case when he arrived in Asheville, he's good with high profile stuff. I wish you all the best. D.V.

If compassion was his motive, he would have been GIVING it away, not selling it to those in "need". I agree with the law enforcement officer; no matter his reasoning or his intentions, he still performed illegal acts.

That would be "Y'all". What does where someone came from have to do with anything?

Why do pharmaceutical companies charge for their medicine? Because it costs money to manufacture and distribute!

Yes, the law enforcement is correct, it is illegal to sell (or give) pot to someone in need... doesn't that seem a bit odd?

The point of this is to bring to light the need to reform the laws surrounding marijuana and it's use.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Cancer

Today's Full Moon will have a powerful impact on your health during the next few months. Maybe this is the spur you need to inspire you to take better care of yourself, such as improving your diet, getting more exercise or finally consulting the doctor about something that's worrying you. It will also be the end of a chapter connected with your work, but don't fret because this ending will lead on to a new beginning.
