This is umfortunately due to the election. We all know Satterfield is behind this.I find it nothing short of sickening that a man would do this to a wonderful family and man, simply to win an election. He must be very afraid of losing.

Did you know Satterfield has allowed the prisoners to start smoking again? This is because he needs their votes, sadly enough, he's a man to be pitied.Only people miserable in their own existence could be so cruel/

My prayers go out to Chris and his family

How could an elected official allow prisoners to smoke?Do they not see this as a ploy on the sheriffs part?As soon as the election is over,God forbid he should win you can bet this privelege is gone.

the prisoners are smoking with the help of your tax money. just think of that when they want to go up on your taxes and when you go to vote.

Let the publc be aware<

One of the accuser's got her children back the day Chris was informed he was going to the Grand Jury.It does't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.Satterfield is banking on the ignorance of Polk County....let's prove him wrong and hold him accountable.

All these charges are completely ridiculous, Chris Abril is an honorable man all-around. What kind of person does this kind of damage to an innocent man and his family? EVIL. We are behind you Chris and pray that this nightmare ends soon.

Let the public be aware Abril has his own problems in his own department no one here wants to talk about.

The sheriff has got to be aware:The information that has been obtained in this and other forums are not privy to public knowledge. He is aware of the sheriffs dept. suppling this info .Bringing Columbus P.D into This is not going to take the apparent pressure off of the Sheriff and the S.O.

Questions need to be answered and people held accountable here.

Public Information:

Columbus PD Dept - look into the CURRENT "officer" suspension - is domestic abuse on the part of an "officer of the law" considered acceptable behavior?

This is just ONE example of "dirty department" activity within the Columbus SYSTEM...

An officer is highy unlikely to be suspended, rather discharged for domestic violence. Check you sources as to the real reason for the suspension and you will find the Sheriffs Dept. behind it all the way to the top.

This was done in conjuntion with the upcoming charges against Mr.Abril and the upcoming election. This was a fairly well planned scheme to taint the Columbus P.D. well before the election.I stated fairly well planned as it is all going to be proven.Law Enforcement anywhere cannot afford to keep a Sheriff in office with the clear and intent motive of ruining an honorable officers carrer. Someone will be held accountable.

THIS officer IS suspended!! Don't believe me? Call and check it out! His trial is coming soon.

Like I said - You would THINK that an officer would be immediately SUSPENDED for such lude behavior.... all the more reason for my absolute disgust with the entire system of Polk CO and Columbus, NC

This is NOT in congunction with the election and has absolutely nothing to do with the election.

It has to do with the FACT that this "OFFICER" -- HIT his "wife" (separated) and this x0x0x0x0 did it in FRONT of his children.

YOU tell me.... what is the problem with this public defense system? How are they protecting this x0x0x0x0?? It tells me that there is a dirty system who protects their own--- above the innocent public.

You are right about one thing 800DBSfan - Someone SHOULD be held accountable!!.. So tell me-- why aren't they?

My intent on this site is to get you all to open your eyes! Check out BOTH systems and get rid of the dirty "good ole boys" club!... and do it before innocent victims are further hurt or heaven forbid .. worse!

This behavior is outrageous! Come on -- get real!

There is no current employed officer of Columbus P.D. on any charges other than Chris Abril.

It is the fact the deputy in questions will have to face ramifications that is whats really concerning you.If properly trained from the beginng this deputy was also well aware of departmental policy and procedure.

The RESERVE OFFICER you are refering to is on suspension pending the outcome of the trial. He is not a full time payed employee of Columbus P.D.

The only difference is one is paid and one is not to do the same job.
