Last night the news said that the trial will be moving AGAIN to Haywood County. Didn't specify the reasons, but did say that Abrial has fired 10 of his employees within the last few days. Don't know what that's all about. How much time will this court case take away from his duties as Sheriff of Polk County? After hearing him talk briefly, I'm really surprised that he was elected, quite frankly! The Sheriff in Henderson county, Rick Davis, is a really sharp guy. Heard him on Matt Mattan the other day and was very impressed.

I guess you've never heard the people in Polk County talk. Being a native of Polk County myself, I can get by with saying that.

This election was proof as to why we have the electoral college for the presidential election; the electorate is mostly composed of morons.

Actually I live in Tryon. I don't know why it says Landrum. And I'm not a realtor either, sorry.

It never made good sense that this trial was being held in Polk County. Moving it was a no brainer. My only question is why it wasn't moved farther away than Buncombe.
As for the Sheriff calling and/or talking to jurors, YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!
Is he really that arrogant, or just that dumb?
As for WHERE the trial will be, it has been moved once again...probably not the last time, as news travels fast...faster than they can find a place where no one has heard about this case!
As for talking to A juror, YES, he did. And not once, but TWICE! He is NOT dumb, he just has NO regard for the so called LAW he pretends to practice. Come on, y'all! Wake up. I've heard, "Oh, but he's so nice!" "He's so funny," "He would NEVER do that." Don't you know that's what people say about their Pedophilic neighbors who have everyone fooled??? I have heard sooo many stories about the REAL person this "man" is. Give me a break. He isn't fooling me for a second. You'll see. Justice in the end! Man up, Chris!!!!!! You're wasting our time!
Was packed but no more

I have planned on moving to the area to get away from the crime in the big city. You have a sheriff who is charged with rape of a someone as young as 10 years old when he was 25? Am I right? Did I miss read the article? Could this be true? I am concerned....
help me out here. Make me feel safe.
