Oh did i mention about the "Good Ole Boy System" cops have for each other. That cop most likely when all the facts come out got in the way of the car to try and force the kid to stop). YES I FEEL BAD FOR THE COP AND HIS FAMILY. But now that kid who probaly was just drunk and prolly would of NEVER hit that officer on purpose is whole life is gone and the officer will get paid probaly 5-15 millon dollars for his trouble. While that kid wont see freedom ever again.....
It amazes me how some of you nimrods always seem to turn around every police chase or bad incident to try and make the Police sound at fault. Lets see, a drunk driver was being chased and then a Deputy is struck by that offender as the deputy deployed stop-sticks, which by the does not "cause" the vehicle to wreck. What causes the wreck is the moron not stopping when his tires are flat. If you're going down the highway on a road-trip are you going to go hammer down when you get a flat tire or are you going to pull off the road? By the way, the Deputy wasn't trying to be "superman" he was trying to help get that idiot drunk off the road by laying out the stop sticks in order to stop the car so that the scum-bag didn't continue on and hit your family head-on.

Well said!!! "Fun" sounds like a moron (or a career criminal)! The drunk could have easily killed his family. Some people just don't have a clue what we have to put up with everyday (names, people starring, spit, drunks, fights, and listen to everybody's problems!)

The kid shouldn't see freedom again. Just because he was drunk doesn't excuse his actions..in fact it should make the courts come down harder on him. I'm tired of people who think impairment is an excuse to get away with things.

Yea, that's why when they showed the crime scene, the cop's blood was on the side of the road in the dirt. If he would have been trying to get the kid to stop his blood would have been in the middle of the road... AWWWWWWW! That's so sweet. Your exuse for a boy deciding to do an adult act which was drink alcohol makes me sick. Then he decided to drive drunk while other passengers were in the vehicle. Then he decided not to stop when he saw lights and heard sirens. This in so many factions is not the officers fault. And no, I'm sure the officer will not get by no means the amount of money you are claiming. I bet a million bucks that when he heals up, he will return to full active duty. Not sit around the house a rich man. And as far as the kid, I'm sure he will see his freedom again. It's a matter of time.

Unfortunately, I am old enough to remember the chain gang. It worked, and was a great deterent for potential repeat offenders. If we could get the politics out of everything in this nation, America would be much, much better off. There needs to be severe consequences for criminal behavior.

People wreck their own lives, don't get mad at the cops for enforcing law on your ass. That's what we taxpayers pay them to do. And by the way, there is no such thing as mace anymore. That is like so 80's dude. If you want to bash cops, at least know what they carry.. your lack of knowledge makes you look like a dumbass.

Judging by the way he writes his sentences I don't think he even made it that far.

Fun... you are a sorry piece of crap. I know the deputy that got hit by the car and for you to get on here and talk about him jumping in front of the car like superman is a joke. The sorry ass drunk driver hit him while he was doing his duty to keep sorry ass pieces of shit like you safe. With the attitude that you have I hope that one day you will reach more than a 12 yr old mentality and see that it is guys like him that keep dumb ass people like you safe in your own home. Maybe one day you will see this, maybe you wont but either way, You can go to hell
