My observation is Barack Obama is running as though he is not the incumbent. Nothing bad that has happened the last four years is his fault, even this morning I find the "Bush Blamers" are out in full force ( I am a democrat and I know Bush carries blame too)
Until Obama, Bush spent and spent. Obama came along and became Bush on steroids.

Obama's record is garbage, he's gotta act like he didn't have anything to do with any of it.

I encourage everyone to vote for Romney because we haven't had much in the way of leadership in the last four years.
With Obama, if something goes wrong, it's because of the previous administrations. If something goes right, Obama did it all.
Childish leadership from Obama, Romney will do a far better job in that aspect.

It trickles down when a rich man pulls it out and fires away. Trickle down is yellow, salty, and 98.6 degrees.

Obama is garbage, remember him selling out to the Russian leader if he only gets re-elected he said.
Obama is selling this country out to the Chinese, Russian and the Arab Spring right under our noses.
His pastor, Rev Wright, and his mentor, Louis Farrakan, are announcing the violence and retribution going to be delivered upon America in Obama is re-elected.
They're all full of hate for America, Obama included.

Obama's connections to these racist Anti-Semites has always been problematica, but since the political correct stance is now Anti-Israel, the liberals still defend this rubbish.

Why not make amends with Israel? That's what gets me. He's too busy hanging with Hugo Chavez, the Muslim brotherhood, or kissing vladimir s butt. And how does mitt keep those silver sideburns looking so damn good ha. You guys should check out rt.com it's a little biased, but lots of info we don't get to hear about over here.

This politically correct Anti-Semitism seems to suit Obama to a T.

Sure alot of wishful dreamers on this mainly republican forum. Even though the race is neck and neck Obama should carry the Electrial College which off course is the most important hing. Former repub and now libertarian Gary Johnson is expected to carry 3% of the Colorado vote and 4 out of 5 of those were former republicans. The Man's ideas are actually best ,doing away with the IRS and going flat tax, bringing ALL troops home,Abolishing the Patriot Act, Legalizing Marijuana. I just believe that as important as it is to not have another Friggin Bush that you'd be wasting your vote for him in 2012.

Yes, I was just musing over the way Karma might be kicking this year when it comes to the Electorial College situation:

I was reading today of the possibility of Romney winning the popular vote, yet losing in the Electorial College.

My my... reminds me of 2000 when the majority of us Americans chose Al Gore yet we got stuck with George Bush, eh?

I know, both sides are giving me a hard time for sticking with Gary Johnson, but I'm not at all alone in my choice to stick with him rather than vote for either Romney or Obama, both of whom I consider worthless... as a discussion elsewhere is going right now:

Matthew Cook Will is correct, Gary Johnson 2012!

Will Dockery If nothing else, Matthew, whichever of the Two-Party clowns win it, I can use the "Don't Blame Me, I Voted For Gary Johnson" bumper sticker...

Nan Burns LOL I'm with all of you...let's pick someone to write in collaboratively!

Matthew Cook I'm tired of feeling dirty after I vote. I've heard all the arguments, and I have decided to feel good about who I vote for, someone I most believe represents my interests. Gary Johnson is that man. If everyone would ignore the "conventional wisdom" that only the two parties have a chance of winning, then there would be legitimate third party candidates, representing most Americans, who are NOT partisans.

Jack Harris YOR VOTE DON'T MEAN SQUAT!!!

Rusty Wood I agree with Jack. If you vote for a 3rd candidate, you're basically not voting.

Matthew Cook Yep, that's exactly what they hope every single American will continue to believe.

Rusty Wood It's true though, plus with a 3 party system, do you really want a president with less than half of the popular vote? I don't

Henry Holmes Third party voting is, by default voting for the worst candidate. By all means vote, and vote your conscience, but please do not be frivilous with this right. The right to vote has been earned the hard way, with blood and sacrifice. OK, i'm off my soapbox

Matthew Cook No, actually I would like a system closer to Europe, with a parliamentary system based on power sharing. That's not gonna happen though.

Personally, there are things about both candidates I dislike, and both candidates I agree with. But the disagrees vastly outweigh the positives. I held my nose in the voting booth in 2008. I will not do that again. The republic will survive either way.

The information age is going to change everything, and the two party system in America will be one of the first things relegated to the dustbin of history, eventually. Johnson has 300,000 likes on facebook, with almost no national campaign and the two major parties spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on attorneys to keep him out of the debates and off the ballots wherever they can. They fear Americans having a real choice that BETTER REPRESENTS THEIR ACTUAL BELIEFS.

Rusty Wood But I remember a lot of folks voting for Perot in 92 and again in 96. And that's what got Clinton elected both times.

Matthew Cook Absolutely. But all of that was before the internet, when all people had to go on was the 3 broadcast networks, CNN, news radio and newspapers. It's a different world now. Trust me, I know all about the spoiler argument, I made it for years. But the world is changing. It won't happen this time, but if people stop accepting the lesser of two evils, maybe one day it will.

Robert Richardson Is Pat Paulson running??? Lol

Rusty Wood I think he died Robert.. lol
