You do realize that our national debt is at 16.5 trillion dollars.
Do you really think national WIFI is a necessity at this time?
Was the Iraq war necessary? An 8 billion dollar border fence that costs us 22 billion? No fair contract bidding costs 18 billion. Wall Street bail out costs us TRILLIONS+. Now answer YES or NO!

I think even as many Americans seem to be quite naive that another bush would be unacceptable to them. Now off course I'm sure some on this forum would be OK with it but thankfully we will have many cold beers in the future untill this happens. How about that Jim Pickens not answering some simple questions?

If you receive your federal benefits by paper check, you'll need to switch to electronic payments by March 1, 2013.

The federal benefits affected are:

Social Security
Supplemental Security Income
Veterans Affairs
Railroad Retirement Board
Office of Personnel Management
Department of Labor (Black Lung)

wonder what the savings on postage alone will come to,..?

I'd rather hear and discuss more about Gram Parsons, and those days... I've kind of turned my back on ploitics again.

Did you see my post on when the Rolling Stones played Auburn?

This was around the time Gram was getting to be good friends with Keith Richards, I believe.
I was friends with Gram while we we children and teenagers. After that I never saw him again.
Discuss whatever you wish on here Will, it is an open forum. Like you I also have no tolerance for profane or hateful attacks against myself or anyone else here.

Jim, as you probably know, Gram Parson's life and music is more popular with younger folks than ever before... I urge you to collect, and put down on paper all these memories and thoughts on Gram's early years, and photographs. As good a writer as you are and with such important and unique subject matter, such a book would not only be sure to become an important text of music history, but would almost certain sell quite a lot of copies.

And in this dismal economy, this can only be a good thing!

As a rule, if you don't use profanity or anything else that will flag you post, no mod will know what you posted.
If I posted that someone was smelly it would go right on by until someone complained by clicking "report abuse" then it is removed.
If the infraction is really bad or if repeated complaints come and they are all from one IP address the person is shadow banned.

Whats so bad is if you have many people on a wifi network like in the dorms downtown at CSU and one person gets shadowbanned they all do.
Hence, the lack of input from CSU students on here now.
One person can mess it up for everyone but along the same lines, ONE PERSON COMPLAINING OVER NOTHING CAN TOO!.

I saw Butch on the HISTORY CHANNEL. I felt sad, because a certain someone posts incessantly about their music and being a part of DOONANNY and HOGBOTTOM. The tone and feel they present of their band and friends is not wholesome family oriented. I don't want my children hearing the lyrics of TRUCK STOP WOMAN. The way the HISTORY CHANNEL presented Butch was nice and wholesome. Like you could drive there and meet him and buy some of his folk art. But that is not the vibe the registered poster constantly presents everything on here and regarding the art and music scene. I'm from Dahlonaga and I see Butch's festival as being like what we have in North Georgia. But the constant link poster on this forum gives everything a sheen of ICKY FEEL. Ya'll feel me? Butch should screen those who are part of Doonanny. Some acts just aren't up to par. Folk art is one thing. Seedy is another. Ya'll feel me? Understand. Its a shame we are rained on by ICKY-NESS.
Well, I am sorry that you have such a kow opinion of the art, music and poetry.

Hopefully someday you'll find something that you do approve of, and share your discoveries here with the rest of the Forum.

Meanwhile, for those who want to find out about my art, music and poetry for themselves, click the link below...

Jim knows. The singer Gram was a jerk as a kid and had marginal talent and was LLLLLAME. That is why he is loathe to write about him.
