Its come to mt attention through some of my friends that some of you may still be posting even though you are shadow banned.
Shadow banned means that you are banned but can still post, just no one can see it.
I was banned months ago because I registered an account with me nickname Wili because thats what everyone calls me because my real name is Wilhelmina Dockery. No relation (thank goodness) to the one who got me banned. My dad is from Minnesota, mom from Germany.

Anyway, if you are posting and no one is responding then you probably are shadow banned.

vielen Dank, Will Dockery

A repost of the real, full story of the "Will Dockery" forgeries:

While many people the world over share the same name by coincidence, that's not the same as a person forging another person's name and commiting identity theft in order to fool others by passing himself off as the person he is forging or stealing the identity and intellectual property of.

That's not at all the same thing as what the forger/identity thief is doing here, as his name is not "Will Dockery", but rather his is purposfully trying to pass himself off as, and otherwise confuse readers into thinking his posts are mine. He does not have the same name as me by coincidence, but is commiting identity theft and forgery, as the article below explains.

When someone is trying to commit identity theft and forgery by trying to pass themselves off as me, then it becomes another matter, and is a noted violation of the Topix.com Terms Of Service.

My statement remains:

***
The forgery and identity theft of my name "Will Dockery" is noted, again, which turns out to be a violation of Topix.com Terms Of Service. I request you cease and desist using my name for your forgeries, please.
***

http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-signature-for...

"...Signature forgery is a crime committed when a person signs another party's name or alters a document in order to commit fraud or deceive others. One common example of signature forgery involves check writing. If a person signs the name of the checking account holder to a check without the account holderís permission, this is considered signature forgery. Likewise, signing another personís signature to a range of other written documents without his permission also constitutes signature forgery.
The purpose or intent of signing another personís name to a document is key in determining whether or not it is considered signature forgery. In most jurisdictions, the signer has to intend some type of deceit or plan to commit fraud for it to be considered forgery. Incidents in which a person has permission to sign another partyís name are not considered a crime.
An act can be considered signature forgery without regard to whether or not the entire signed document was created fraudulently ó a forgery may occur if a person creates an entire document and signs someone elseís name to it. Many jurisdictions also consider it forgery, however, if a person alters a legitimately signed document by erasing, inserting, or changing any part of it without the signerís knowledge and consent.

Additionally, the document in question need not be a legal contract or other legal document for it to be considered forgery. A falsely signed or altered letter may be considered forgery as well..."

Hope that clears up your confusion, and have a nice day.

No, it appears to me the posts are deleted by Topix.com when the writes violate the Terms of Service that is stated with each post in fine print.

"Please note by clicking on "Post Comment" you acknowledge that you have read the Terms of Service and the comment you are posting is in compliance with such terms. Be polite. Inappropriate posts may be removed by the moderator."

Ever notice that none of your posts are deleted, for example, Panther? That's no doubt because you use some sense and good taste when you post, whether we or anyone else agrees with you or ypu them.

Hope that clears up your confusion.

But it takes someone to click that report abuse button above every post before that happens.
I think most moderators just delete without reading and then if they get enough complaints about one user they go ahead and ban them.
I know you complain alot Will.

No, I know for a fact that isn't true, since I've tried to post writings with an "offensive" word and it wouldn't post... there was a filter that stopped the post and informed me something similar to the standard Topix.com statement at the bottom of every post:

"...Please note by clicking on "Post Comment" you acknowledge that you have read the Terms of Service and the comment you are posting is in compliance with such terms. Be polite. Inappropriate posts may be removed by the moderator."

Yes, the moderators do keep a lookout for racist and other hate speech and things like libel and slander, I've observed.

You are right, if it sees an offensive word it won't let you post it but if it was allowed and posted it takes a complaint to have it removed. Thats a fact.

How do you come up with the notion that your statement is a "fact"?

I've seen posts removed from here days, weeks after they were posted, and the statement from Topix.com gives no such "facts":

"...Please note by clicking on "Post Comment" you acknowledge that you have read the Terms of Service and the comment you are posting is in compliance with such terms. Be polite. Inappropriate posts may be removed by the moderator."

All of which is fine with me, since I think the offensive language, racism and other garbage posted here at times can drive good readers and writers away.

I forgot to ask, if this is a "fact", where in the official Topix.com pages did you find a statement from them that would make this a fact?

Hi there,
Oh dear. It looks like maybe some overzealous filtering, which generally happens as a response to user activity in the forum where it appears.
If you can send a link to where this happened through our feedback link at the bottom of any topix page, we may be able to make some adjustments. Be sure to include a brief explanation of what you saw.
Thanks!

Filter will not let it post, once it has a permalink it's only hidden not deleted, and the feedback link is the way post get reviewed, mods don't look for it unless they are notified,..

No, I've had posts automatically "flagged" and not allowed to post because "objectionable" content was allegedly detected.

Hiya!
You summoned?
We do have a set of filters that each post goes through. We also realize that when adults discuss topics they are passionate about, they will sometimes use profanity. While you might get the warning when you post, your post might still make it if it doesn't reach a certain threshold of profanity. We also have many "zero tolerance" words and if you use one of those, your post disappears into the ether.
Hope that helps,

Is the rumor true that Obama has proposed nationwide WiFi?!?

That would be one positive legacy!

You do realize that our national debt is at 16.5 trillion dollars.
Do you really think national WIFI is a necessity at this time?

That was sort of a joke, Jim.

I'd rather hear and discuss more about Gram Parsons, and those days... I've kind of turned my back on ploitics again.

Did you see my post on when the Rolling Stones played Auburn?

This was around the time Gram was getting to be good friends with Keith Richards, I believe.

Hey Will if it pisses off these friggin republicans let's have it and "A Chicken In Every Pot". We had to endure the painful stinging legacy of the worst president ever for 4 years so let's take whatever the government wants to give. Bush gave the wealthy huge tax breaks, Haliburton and Cheney 18 billion dollars, Boeing 22 billion dollars. He took all regulations away from Wall Street so they could STEAL Trillions. Thankfully most romney supporters before the election have crawled back under the rocks where they have always belonged.
