Obama should have addressed the economy and unemployment first and foremost. These 8 long years will be a total waste of time after the growing debacle of ObamaCare is hopefully repealed.
America needed a leader but we got Obama, the ramifications of having this person as President will affect negatively this country, economy and culture for many years to come.

Reports say the bamster was furious when his little gun control bill got shot down, he is such a adolescent.
Bite me Biden says more Obama executive orders are on the way since they failed miserably with taking away our 2nd amendment rights.

Isn't it funny that the article posted by Jim came from the United Kingdom which happens to have some of the strictest gun laws on the planet? That's on about the same level as when ole Lush LimpBlob told the world that if ROMNEY-CARE passed, he would move to Costa Rica!
What ole Fat-A$$ didn't understand is Costa Rica enjoys world class healthcare which by the way is a public healthcare system and has been for many years. Why do you think thousands of Americans go to places like Costa Rica, Panama and other Central and Latin American countries and get better care at a fraction of what it would cost here? Rent Too High MoFo!

Our tax dollars every year that is sent to these Central American countries have alot to do with that. Cut off American foreign aid and let their tax base cover it and things won't be near as peachy.
Americans go to Costa Rica because they can use untested treatments for cancer and problems. Doctors and hospitals in the USA cannot do the things they do there because of Government regs.
Use that noodle of yours and get the whole picture.

Now in the first place he never had anywhere near 90% approval and as I said months ago Gun-Control will never pass, at best maybe some other ways to keep high power weapons out of the wrong hands. Guns and apple pie go together in the USA.

If the support for gun control is that high in the nation, then Congress is not doing its job and representing the people of the United States. Whether we like it or not, this is a nation of the people, by the people, and for the people, and if that much of the country is in support of a measure to ban guns in the United States, our representatives should be looking at a Constitutional amendment to overturn the 2nd Amendment.

The only explanation for what happened during the vote over this is that politicians looked to their pocketbooks, which are lined by special interests like the NRA, over their duty to serve the will of the people.

While your at it...Lets cut off the aid to the oil companies and the banks. After all it must have been all that Govt. Regulation that caused the worst oil spill in our history as well as the worst banking failure since the Great Depression. You can also blame the recent Texas plant explosion on Govt. Regulation because OSHA had not been in the place for in years.

I call BS.
They was a lot of people all for slavery too back in the day, that didn't make it right.
The problem is that Americans dont trust politicians to tinker with our rights so it stays the way it is.
Too many people have stupid knee jerk reactions to tragedies and talk about total bans and that won't fly.
Why don't they just ban massacres.

They go because they can't AFFORD treatments here in the US. Costa Rica has very cheap, nationalized health care.

How many times have you been to Costa Rica? None? Then you have no idea what you're talking about.

Noodle indeed.
