Bush wasn't in office 10 months. Considering Obama has been in office 4 1/2 years and stands before us every day saying he knew nothing about anything, it is amazing Bush did so much better with less time.

He was in ten months and did nothing and then he followed that up by not doing anything for seven more years except to get us into two wars and two recessions.

Ten months is almost a year... plenty of time to get a handle on his job, no?

I don't know, Obama has been in office 4 1/2 years and tells us every day he doesn't know a thing about anything. Bush was a better President, because he is an American, and we aren't sure what Obama is. Also Bush loved this country. Obama loves golf.

I never said that you stupid POS, I said the DOD carries the burden of security at US embassies and used the USMC as an example. You are so out of touch with the real world I wonder just what you do with your miserable life.
Secondly, yes I live on Ft Benning yet do not have to post on boards in California, Oregon or Washington to be heard, I can post locally yet you seem to only to be able to get anyone interested in your BS here in Columbus Georgia.

Benghazi wasn't an Embassy, or a Consulate. We were lied to. It was a CIA outpost being used to transport Weapons, and guns to the Syrian rebels. It was in violation of several laws, not the least of which they did not have prior approval of Congress. That is the Difference, as Hillary might say. In any case we aren't through investigating. If you want to know what our Government is up to you have to go outside the country to foreign papers for the truth.

The rightwing propaganda machinery is in full swing with their usual hysterics trying to make political hay out of something they caused in the first place. It’s all happening as a result of the SCOTUS’s “Citizens United” decision, turning corporations into people and money into speech. Literally thousands of politically motivated groups sprouted up across the country, inspired by the t-bag party, applying for tax-exempt (501) status by claiming they are engaged in political research only. In fact, guess who was the first one to apply – you guessed it, none other than uber-troglodyte Karl Rove (Crossroads GPS). The IRS has a duty to investigate questionable applicants! The GOPer’s notion that the IRS would try to determine whether an organization is likely to be political without taking into account kind of the inherently political nature of the application is akin to tying your hands behind your back.

It is frightening that Obama's storm troops use the IRS to target their enemies like the Natl Socialists did in early '30's Germany. Hope the media stands up for right rather than this wrong so the Country doesn't let Obama divide us anymore than he already has over the last four years.

Why would it so unusual that the IRS would look into the very people that openly declare that taxes are illegal and the federal Gov't should be reduced to fit in a bathtub and drowned? Come on man think about it!

No arguement from me. We are pathetic losers to have let someone with obama's ultra arrogant anti american, anti law and order agenda be President.

All you have supplied is an OPINION that in your mind have become facts and some broad comments indicated below. Your OPINIONs do not equate to facts! So as I originally stated:
I agree you provided a link to an “Initiative/Review – The Al-Qida Network” which is described as having two goals:
1. To drive the US out of the Muslim world, forcing the withdrawal of our military and economic presence in countries from Morocco to Indonesia;
2. To replace moderate, modern, Western regime in Muslim countries with theocracies modeled along the lines of the Taliban.
While potentially, greater information and detail is provided, I dare say what is seen, hardly qualifies as “They gave Bush a detailed record which Bush ignored.” Nothing in your link reflects any direct or implied threat to the 50 States. From the link it would appear Clinton and Obama are using the same playbook of denial and ignoring the true threat represented by Bin Laden (understanding Bin Laden is currently dead) and “Al Qida.”
LOL
Thank you for your well crafted, intellectually honest post. You won't get that from Barefoot. He drowned in the Obama KoolAide.

From the sordid world of race-hustling, the "usual suspects" are getting into the act, i.e.,

Former NAACP chairman Julian Bond said Tuesday that he believes the targeting of tea party groups by the IRS is well within the bounds of political fair play, reports the Washington Times.
In an interview on MSNBC, Bond said that Tea party groups are "overtly racist” and the “Taliban wing of American politics.”

Even Colin Powell pointed out similar leanings in the Teabagger ranks.

All you have supplied is an OPINION that in your mind have become facts
detailed facts ignored by Condie et al.

More examples:

The direct warnings to Mr. Bush about the possibility of a Qaeda attack began in the spring of 2001. By May 1, the Central Intelligence Agency told the White House of a report that “a group presently in the United States” was planning a terrorist operation. Weeks later, on June 22, the daily brief reported that Qaeda strikes could be “imminent,” although intelligence suggested the time frame was flexible.

But some in the administration considered the warning to be just bluster. An intelligence official and a member of the Bush administration both told me in interviews that the neoconservative leaders who had recently assumed power at the Pentagon were warning the White House that the C.I.A. had been fooled; according to this theory, Bin Laden was merely pretending to be planning an attack to distract the administration from Saddam Hussein, whom the neoconservatives saw as a greater threat. Intelligence officials, these sources said, protested that the idea of Bin Laden, an Islamic fundamentalist, conspiring with Mr. Hussein, an Iraqi secularist, was ridiculous, but the neoconservatives’ suspicions were nevertheless carrying the day.

In response, the C.I.A. prepared an analysis that all but pleaded with the White House to accept that the danger from Bin Laden was real.

“The U.S. is not the target of a disinformation campaign by Usama Bin Laden,” the daily brief of June 29 read, using the government’s transliteration of Bin Laden’s first name. Going on for more than a page, the document recited much of the evidence, including an interview that month with a Middle Eastern journalist in which Bin Laden aides warned of a coming attack, as well as competitive pressures that the terrorist leader was feeling, given the number of Islamists being recruited for the separatist Russian region of Chechnya.
