So sorry to hear of Bobby's passing, I had no idea but am proud to have had him in two shows with The Shadowville All-Stars last year... as he joins our hall of fame with Sam Singer...

Rest In Peace brother Bobby! We started writing and playing together in 1973. I met Bobby in the 4th grade at Morningside Elementary in 1970. He sat behind me and we became fast friends. Bobby and I were the only kids in the 5th grade to have .. um.. mustaches.. lol, well, kid mustaches, the hair on our lip started to turn dark. We wrote songs together starting in 73, 74. We learnt to harmonize. Bobby was very instrumental in my development as a player, singer, and writer. We went on later to form the group MainStreet Express with Steve Sandford, Charlie Murphy, and David Brightwell in 1980. Bobby was probably the most naturally talented musician I'd ever met. Bobby never married, never had children, and leaves his music as his only legacy. I hope people will take the time to get t know and appreciate his music in the future. I love you Bobby, and will miss you very much! Rusty

Yes he was a musical legend. Now he sings and plays with Precious Bryant, and Ma Rainey and Clyde. Please mention them often. Keep their memory and music alive!
