Pathetic. He even uses dead people to troll up the conversation to his music. Sick.

Your admission is noted, "Hank", or whatever name you're hiding behind today. You sure come across as bitter and jealous, my anonymous friend... no wonder you hide behind fake names like "Truth" and "Hank" when you post here, since you must embarrass yourself... yes, pathetic indeed. -- Music & poetry from Will Dockery & Friends: http://www.reverbnation.com/willdockery |

No, Dennis M. Hammes is hardly forgotten among the poetry readers, and of course John Lennon will not be forgotten soon, either.

Okay, troll, so I gather you don't like John Lennon... just more proof that you're a dimwit. -- Music & poetry from Will Dockery & Friends: http://www.reverbnation.com/willdockery |

No, Dennis M. Hammes may be gone, but far from ever being forgotten: http://www.wikinfo.org/Multilingual/index.php... Dennis M. Hammes,(April 8, 1945 - December 23, 2008) was an American poet. He was a 1963 graduate of Park Rapids High School, Park Rapids, Minnesota. Hammes was the author of several books of poetry, published in pdf and available for download from his online publishing company, Scrawlmark. He was well-known in Usenet as a regular contributor to the newsgroups alt.arts.poetry.com ments and rec.arts.poems. Hammes was a prolific writer of many forms of verse, in particular the haiku and the sonnet. His master work was an epic series of sonnets which is loosely based on the legendary Orphic trilogy, and parallels the story of the trials of Orpheus but within a landscape of contemporary events. The three sequences of the sonnet series are: Sonnets to Eurydice The Women of Thrace The Singing Head There are over 900 sonnets in the series. |

As I posted elsewhere on the subject of music, art, poetry, et cetera... I don't create my poetry, songs, art for your approval or that of anyone else. As with any art, I create it, put it out for inspection, and the viewer/listener takes away from it what they can, or will, depending in large part what they /bring/ to it. I have met and made many frineds, comrades and collaborators of like mind and creative energy, though, since I've been doing the poetry, music and art "act" for decades now. There are many fellow travellers in the creative arts, and appreciators of such creations, though, just as there are those dullards... but even those can be supportive as they too want to achieve something in life. And what have you done? I've been writing a monthly column since 1998 (14 years?) and publishing poetry as often since 1995 in Playgrounds Magazine: http://www.playgroundsmag.com That's thousands of printed copies per month, every day of every month, for almost two decades... so what have you done, or even claim to have done, "Music Man"? This is a serious question, because so far you haven't shown anything, and that's a fact. Written any songs? Where have you published any lyrics or poetry, and please cite references and/or link to the publication? Again, I have hundreds of poems and song lyrics (same thing, actually) published, in print, in thousands of copies and available at dozens of locations in the Chattahoochee Valley area. Or snip this again while you evade the question, since you have already made it clear you have nothing to bring to the table. "Show, don't tell." -Dennis M.
