I want to hear from those who have lived on Ft Benning and the nightmares that they have had to endure dealing with the privatized housing company Ft Benning contracted with.

A Place You Can Call Home!

Fort Benning Family Communities, a partnership between the U.S. Army and Clark Pinnacle Family Communities, is proud to announce the start of a new era in military family housing at Fort Benning. On September 28, 2004, as part of the U.S. Army's Residential Communities Initiative program, the Department of the Army awarded Clark Pinnacle the opportunity to develop and implement a Community Development and Management Plan (CDMP).

On January 1, 2006, Clark Pinnacle assumed management and operations of the family housing on post.

I'm sure they would like to make you think that. But unfortunately if you live in the older housing units, they have lead paint in them. Kids are getting sick and their stance on the matter is we will slap another coat paint on top of the old just to make it look good. That also applies to the black mold that is growing in them too.Which violates state and federal laws.

Ms Bang,
We are currently fighting tooth and nail with PInnacle to get moved out of our older housing unit, in Bouten Heights, due to mold in our walls, and a tub upstairs, which had water underneath it, which they refused to pull out when it started leaking into the downstairs, they only reglazed and regrouted it. Our floorboards upstairs are spongy and my daughters room feels like it's going to cave in at any moment. If you have any information about anything else like this going on, that you could email me, that I could use (confidentially of course) I'd greatly appreciate it. C/P is about to get sued by me if they don't resolve my issue by moving me to a new housing area, even if it's not one of the new ones, which I understand are having problems already. I'm sick of paying E6 BAH to live in the ghetto, I'm sure our BAH is paying for the construction and upkeep on the new housing. If you reply, I'm in your debt.
Thank You,
Heather Lyons

Suck it up and drive on? No Hooah from me. If someone has a child with mold infested floors, then they have every right to be upset, over thier child's welfare. Black mold and lead paint (also posted), is very harmful to the body...especially children.

Grow up a little. Hooah?
