Pretty bad, saw a car catch fire under the engine. Called 911 and it rang off the hook. Hung up and called the Lewisburg police and it said if this is an emergency to call 911... DUH.

by this time I was close to the police station and saw the fire trucks/police cars starting to leave with sirens so I knew they got the call.

Sad to think,if it was for an intruder,or stroke, heart attack.you would of been chit out of luck to get the help you needed :(

The car was on 5th ave north stopped at the light at West commerce st.

Sadly there are people in this town that are constantly calling 911 for the dumbest thing. Loud music is just an example. If a person calls 911 more than 5 times in a month and their life is not in danger I think they should have to spend 24 hours in jail for each call. If jail time is not the answer court cost. It makes me mad to know that people use 911 to get attention or "to give the law something to do". That is probably what happened in your situation. I am not making excuses for the law. I have seen a person on 5th ave north call 911 cause a woman locked herself out of her house and was climbing in the window. REALLY!!! You know her by name but not by site. It amazes me how disrespectful people are
