I can not believe my ears when another minister of the Baptist Church in Oakland said That these New age churches were entertainment not worship.
How dare you judge another place of worship. you would be surprised the young people in my church.

Most Baptist Churches that I have attended think that if you do not focus on hell and fire and brimstone every week, then you are not worshipping. If you notice, anytime you hear a Baptist Preacher speak to the public, they will talk about dying. I believe they are stuck on one message and think you should motivate through fear. If you believe in Christ, then you probably know that Christ did not walk around the earth judging people and trying to scare them to death. He surrounded himself by the poor, the hungry, thiefs, a prostitute etc. He taught these people how to cope and how you should not judge, but forgive and to love one another. If you know the consequence of sin, then why do you have to hear the same message day in and day out. How about teaching something other than the obvious, like how to cope with the daily grind of life or how to improve a marriage. How does talking about hell all the time help with those types of problems that so many adults deal with?
