If Target hasn't ruined this town then how will a Walmart? Almost everything sold in each of these stores is made in China. They are almost identical, except Target's prices are higher and Walmart's prices are lower. Nobody seems to complain when a Target comes to town but they always complain when a Walmart is coming.
Walmart' s products are inferior. Target's may cost more, but they are way better,
Also, if we all remember a few years back, Walmart was going to open up in Thompson Station at first, but left he city with. Big note getting the property ready for them. They pulled out. Target on th other hand, gave us an opportunity not to drive all the way out to Franlin for a pair of jeans.

I lived in 23 different states and anytime a Walmart goes in, it steals jobs. The last city I lived in, it created 250 jobs, but a total of 2,500 jobs were lost. The local mom and pop store all went under. Two big grocery stores were gone, and two gas stations closed. Plus, the transportation companies, warehouses, factories that supplied good and services to all the local stores went under. The downtown area is now a ghost town. Google it and find out Walmart ruins small cites and towns! And, my 51 year old son was driving groceries by semi-truck to the stores lost his $14 an hour job and is now working at Walmart making $8 in the back room. He had that job since high school! Walmart also ruins the wages in the towns too! You still happy Walmart is coming?
You are so right! Coming from California I saw the same thing happen. Plus Walmart tends to be a big bully with its suppliers and doesn't honor it's agreements.

Auto zone prices on Mobile one oil, 37.99 Walmarts price on the same oil 24.99. Look out Autozone when Walmart opens. Asked Autozone if they could price match and was told could not sell the oil at that price.

More jobs for people and more tax revenue for Spring Hill. With the tax dollars from Walmart Spring Hill could widen RT.31.

Incorrect, I really dont. I dont shop at Walmart unless I absolutely have to. I will continue to support Kroger and Target in Spring Hill, not the new Walmart.

My earlier response to 'concerned in spring hill' was in error.

If you go to most Wal-marts in America, specifically the one in Columbia, you can get alot more than shine in those parking lots!
