Wowwza wrote: WTG ohmeohmy.I think it is great that you are helping others in need.It shows just how unselfish and caring of a person you are.I saw in another post where 123 talked highly of your giving nature.People like you are rare these days.Merry Christmas to you and I pray for a blessed holiday for you and your loved ones. And I think you put Why wondering in his/her place. Thank you for the kind words. I do care deeply for others. I have helped familys out at Chrismas for quite a few years now. I use to go to place's like Salvation Army etc, but what I was given was a family who was doing better than I was. Don't get me wrong. Place's like Salvation Army etc do good for teh community, but if I am going to help someone out, they need to be worse off than I am. I learned to just keep my eye's and ears open. This way I know, I am helping people who really need the help. I not only help people out at Christmas time either. I am a Chemo Angel. This is someone who helps cancer patients fell better. I have chosen children 15 yrs or younger. I am very active with childhood cancer and am glad to put a smile on their faces with gifts, cards and letters of encouragement. It is such a great joy when a child goes into remission or is pronounced clean (of cancer), but the truth is, more end up losing the battle. So if anyone out there wants to help even a little bit, may I suggest you donate to St. Jude's Hospital. There do a terrific job. Wowwza, I hope you and your family have a blessed holiday too. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

-OhMeOhMy- wrote: <quoted text> Well if you must know why I asked her a good time to call, is because the email service is slow on sending emails through. If I would of sent an email at 4am, it may not get to her mail box till the afternoon. I knew if she was up, she would possible look at topix.(I don't think my couple communications is upsetting anyone other than you, and why? I have no clue). This is an open forum after all. Now since you want to stir up trouble... Let me ask you this. I am helping 2 different familys. Both have 2 children each (4 kids total), and I most likely will be helping this 3rd one, also with 2 children, making it 6 kids. I not only supply the gifts, I also wrap them and address them to the children from Santa. I buy the wrapping paper, bows and ribbons (which isn't cheap). Sooooooo, what are you doing to help needy familys this year? From the way you posted, it sounds like you are doing nothing but running at the mouth. Yes there are needy people all over. You mention the storm victims. I live in TN, not NYC. If I was in NYC, yes I would be helping anyway I could. You say " there are hard working americans worse off" Well she is a hard working American. She has a job, is sole provider for her kids and mentioned she moved away from the life she use to have to make a new life. She put space between her and the bad influences in her life. Everyone deserves a second chance. Me helping this person or others is no skin off your back at all. So why try to cause trouble, stir the pot so to speak? Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas (I sure hope Santa shows you the TRUE meaning of Christmas for your gift this year) A lot of people give in many ways and so do we. You don't see any of them come on topixs and brag...right down to paying for bows as you do. I don't know what picture you are trying to paint of yourself but with your not so understanding remarks with wonderings posts it is obvious that you are not as nice of a person or understanding of opinions as you want to be seen as. You know what they say about people who brag about giving and doing good deeds. I personally think you are trying to make a grandstand of yourself with a 3 person clapping crowd.

Whatever, I am not a bragger. But the way wondering why posted, I was filling them in. I am sure lots of people help in all kind of ways. I am glad, the world needs it. I do not need claps, or praise. Far from it. I ask nothing in return for helping others. I don't need the glory either. To each their own. Sad how you try to help and others try to knock you into the ground. Sad, Sad world we live in here.

Did you take an ugly pill overdose today? I did not see anyone bragging, just explaining. You, on the other hand are the kind that look for ways to tear down rather than build up. Would it be better if no one helped anyone so you don't have to feel the need to ridicule? Or perhaps you feel so sorry for yourself because you don't help others it makes you feel better to blows someone's candle out so yours doesn't look so dim. You are nothing but a pathetic excuse of life. It is not about being applauded at all for doing the right thing, but showing others how it can be done. Yet, I do applaud anyone's effort to help others.

It's your money. You can communicate and use anyway you choose. If you want to see that children get a pretty present or two,it's your good deed. Have fun with it.Kids love a pretty bow as much as the present. We all love children especially seeing them get toys at holiday time.Every kid needs to get a toy wrapped up in pretty paper with pretty ribbon bow. Especially just for them. Your reward will come later.Thank you .

WOWWZA WOWWZA WOWWZA,I myself did not take it as bragg'n either.Wondering Why was giving ohmeohmy a hard time and I took it as she was explaining/defending herself.
grandstanding and giver did a big fat bug crawl up your a@@ today or what.Seems some people are not happy unless they break someones spirit here on topix.bragg'n is one thing but trying to defend one's self from the topix bully is another.Ohmeohmy I am in your corner here.don't let these big ugly bullys get to you.

You two can be two peas in a pod. And a hypocrite to boot for claiming the amount you give. Now exactly where did I give any list of what I give? I believe got a snoot-full of arrogance and an overdose of fool.

You need to speak the truth is what you need to do instead of digging a hole to bury yourself into. And I'm the bully? Says the black pot. Move along, nothing to see here.
